I love a good Doug lyfe story, its like a zen philosophy. I'm not surprised they are closed but that sucks hairy ballsack.....I think if they want to go late late you either need cooperative weather or like superstar kinda depth

Props to blue on a great season.

I stood at the top of the Falls after my last run on Sunday, a great run down Lazy with no one else around, and great snow, edge to edge coverage which is unheard of for last weekend in March, and I really wanted to take a couple more runs. But then I thought, you know, if that was the last run of my Blue Mountain season, I can live with that memory until November. No regerts.

'belle is *planning* on being open Fri-Sun and the weekend of the 12-13th https://www.belleayre.com/belleayre-operations-update/ At least I had an awesome last day at blue although I would of liked to have bashed a few slush bumps last weekend

blue closed womp womp

Hunter still claiming they will be open this weekend for those with a yen to ski in the rain without driving to VT Forecast for both days on their site is for scattered thunderstorms Froday forecast looks promising though - best option for skiing within a couple hundred miles of PA
-
Facebook post confirmed season is over - they could have made April by opening yesterday or today

Nail has officially been put in the coffin😥

Interesting. Lift Tickets were definitely there as a category at about 9:30 am today. I checked Saturday, it was $35 without even having to put anything in about having a pass. Gone now? Probably not a good sign.

I got back to Philly around 12:15 AM, home like 2:30 AM. It wasn't terrible since I was still used Pacific Standard Time, but still sucked getting up for work this morning -
fwiw they had tickets for sale at least as late as last night (for sat and sun). that page is gone from their store but i still had a link. it's active but no longer offers tix for either date https://www.shopskibluemt.com/flex-pricing-flex-tickets-8-hr-lift-ticket-unlimited heres an interesting one in the search lol https://www.shopskibluemt.com/8hourlift maybe a free for all search is hidden but here's the results for 'lift' - https://www.shopskibluemt.com/filterSearch?adv=true&cid=0&mid=0&vid=0&q=lift&sid=true&isc=true

thanks for noticing. I got a haircut before I left the flight back kinda sucked - delayed out of Spokane and I had 10 minutes to make my connection in Denver. -

Oh shit I hate that they’re sort of keeping us in limbo. I figure tomorrow they’ll make some sort of announcement. -
If you call the main phone number 610-826-7700, it says "blue mountain is closed for the season"
-
Folks really think they are gonna open Sat for bragging rights even with heavy rain in forecast. Maybe Vista only to say they were open and lose less money - gotta be easiest to keep some snow at the top too
-
Definitely a skiing style worth emulating, recognizable far enough up the hill to get the camera out.
-
One of my favorite movie lines. Fingers crossed 🤞.

JLaw you’re a real one..you’re part of the glue that bonds together our row at Blue and PASR and you show up mad early most days and can relate or at least listen to my Doug Lyfe problems..if you wind up with a statue or bronze plaque or some additional Mountain Dew code red or some steezy iced tea from Whole Foods or Fresh Market, it’s cause the stoke marketing is rising. Always a pleasure skiing with JLaw..and even on the days I miss, C1er often takes shots of him skiing from the lift.. - Last week

I have a case of old man back so without the top gear conditions are kinda irrelevant. I cannot believe that's it for me on the blue season as it just seems so fast. It doesn't seem to matter if I go nearly everyday the season is too fast. It was an honor and pleasure to ski and ride with you all..........going to be mad interesting to see what they can open for this weekend.

Walked around downtown Spokane this morning, checked out Spokane falls. They have a carousel and a gondola that goes over the falls, but they hadn't opened yet. Hit uprise brewing after that for taquitos and a beer and then left for the airport. Also posting some pics the fishing guide sent. Great trip...never waited in a lift line, empty slopes, good beers, and good fishing. I'd like to come back for some mid winter conditions and hit more stuff. -
