Box Building

Im trying to build some boxes for next season . I was wondering if anyone knew where to get the plastic type stuff on top of them. I tried lowes, home depot etc, they dont seem to know what im talking about. I just need to know where to get it, price, size..you know

I think your talking about plexiglass. Parkbuilder or someone should get back to you. I'm not really knowledgeable in this area. If no one gets back to you, just pm parkbuilder and he'll tell you what you gotta do.

you would like to to get some lexan plastic. you should get some 1/4 inch thick. you could go thinner i guess but you run the risk of cracking it in the cold.

plexiglas will work but is not ideal. polyethylene is tops.

plexi isn't that smooth really you can feel its stickyness. also dont' use aluminum coping, steel rusts but if you clean it with a file its fast, aluminum is sticky for some reason

HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene) is what they use at some mountains. You would probably have to buy from a stock plastics supplier, or maybe ebay. If you were desperate you could probably use a bunch of HDPE cutting boards. There are also at least a couple more threads on this.

Yeah Home Depo has it just go to the plexi glass and get the 1/4 in one
