  1. In the mid nineties i forgot my jacket one morning and bought a hoodie that says est. 1977 so it must be so - i think i'm gonna break it out friday for the celebration!

  2. I'm not sure that this will be sufficient either Mr. DKJ! Ski2argueArgue2live's instruction was clear... Present him with a reputable media outlet article clearly stating that Blue mountain opened in 1977. Without this he will continue to believe that Blue opened in the sixties and 1975. Because that's what the various news articles said. I found this highly official document on meatspin.com This pretty much ends the debate.

  4. I'll probably hit up Blue for 8:30. Look for a skiier with a helmet, jacket, snowpants, gloves, and goggles.

  6. Little gap opened in 1977. It's the same area as Blue Mountain. If I changed my name to Leroy I'd still be 38 years old, I wouldn't start over in age.

  12. Info for this weekend. Lift tickets are cheap. $29 Friday and $39 for the weekend. Runs open are easy out, vista, come around, midway and lower Main Street. Midway is gonna be rowdy I expect some nice push piles with the warminh temperatures and sunshine.

  15. That will not suffice. "I am the Walrus" requested the 1977 date in the form of print media only. Try again sir! goo goo ga joob.

  16. Youre such a fucking hater. It really is their 40th anniversary. Most days at Blue mountain there are no lifelines or very short lines. When you show up at the crack of 10 on a mid winter weekend what do you expect? Drive an extra hour to Sno mountain and ride the slow lifts that only go halfway up the mountain if you don't want lifelines.

  17. Right. How dare they celebrate a milestone. Hopefully the lines are one person shorter with you counting your pennies and critiquing articles at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. With Elks lifts he probably finished those 60th b-day runs just after turning 61. Well you had me chuckling, but midweek you can get 5 1/2 runs per hour. So, he theoretically can get his 60 runs in between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm but he does stop into lodge for a beer a couple times throughout the day.
