  6. I have no idea what your trying to say but different skis within the same line may have different glass, a 22oz triax is not the same as a 18oz biax so if you go with a really hardcore glass you perhaps don't need metal or full metal. The shiro is a non-metal ski that doesn't ski like a non-metal ski because of alot of reasons one of which is a pretty harcore application of glass. Also not all 22oz triax is the same. Graphene is pretty cool shit but it ain't going to make anyone ski considerably better, I can get a 2x4 down the shittiest bunch of rotten rock strewn snow, AS could get that same 2x4 making 11m radius turns because at least in little areas were good at, the ski matters and also doesn't matter at all. For those that don't get the RTM hate, I'd explain it like this. Did whomever make a rational, reasonable, decision to purchase 170 RTM's ? Is it a well made ski that will suit you as you improve ? Sure..... but your still a loser because those skis are loved by Jerrys. LOL

  7. You spelled "mountain" wrong. Buying a bike is fun for perspective. On your way to sell your plasma and harvest a kidney, you'll think "remember when I thought $600 skis were unreasonably expensive? That was adorable."

  9. The shop has been great; they agreed to take them back immediately, shipping at their expense. The skis were brand new and wrapped in plastic, so the fault is Volkl's, not the shop's.

  13. I've got some 188 4frnt CRJs mounted with Salomon Guardians (size S). They have only been mounted once. Both have been used but are in good shape. The skis have top sheet chipping, and a minor coreshot that is pictured below. They have some scratches and dings that are normal for used skis. The Guardians are scratched but work perfectly. The setup is really surfy! $400 plus shipping or free pick up in Allentown. Pick up would be better.

  30. How long have you had your oldest skis that you are on all the time and just replaced??? It's amazing how long skis last these days. Two decades ago skis often had delamination issues. Ryan is still skiing on Toasts old Rossis which are a solid ten years old.

  36. Day 3: redux of day one, just colder, poorer viz and more wind (summit quad getting intermittent wind holds). Agree with comment on not a lot of trees, maybe 4 mapped glades????? Anyhoo, this trip has been a real gem. Finishing up lunch and back out. Insider tip: park at children’s lodge to avoid long parking lot walks. Can park next to lodge (no one goes there except locals) and lodge is always empty

  37. Because my fatties are a 27M titanium filled fat GS ski with enough rebound energy to send Volkl RTMs to the fucking moon.

  38. Because 95% of the skiing in the world is not in the Poconos. Also, you can't proficiently ski any bump run in PA.
