I can't do any twelve-hour marathon days up here, but am doing the best I can. I was the last bag left in an formerly crowded bag room today at Okemo. 4:15 pm: pitiful. C'mon people, if the chair's runnig it's skiable! Also FFS I left my W-2 forms at home in Bethlehem, so I have to make a quick trip to PA. Not sure when but will try to hit a weekend and bring my skis. The only tricky part is that my cat screams nonstop in the car like he's being repeatedly stabbed with a butter knife, so I want to leave him here in VT. But my mom doesn't know anything about cats and she falls for his con-man bullshit every time. (He's not starving. Look at him.) And she's very forgetful, so I have to leave notes like this all over the place. So I dunno I might shoot down this weekend, might postpone until next.3 points

This little turd did pretty darn good today for not skiing in a few years. Last run of the day was challenge and he made it down linking some turns together without falling. His favorite thing now he said is straight lining falls. Got to see Root as a bonus. Hunter said that Roots Savage A.F. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

If coverage is what Eaf is saying, that Facebook post right there definitely takes some balls.2 points

Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I finished off the work day with a nice preneed sale(bonus business) followed up with a very empty and fully open Blue mountain. I stopped at Sheetz on the drive up and had two hot dogs and an iced tea then pulled into the lower lot at 419PM..high tailed it to the water closet as nature called..I think I actually trotted to the bathroom..stage 3.5!! Atomic Jeff arrived about ten minutes later and we began on Razors ledge which was choppy up top and smooth spring snow lower 2/3..Nightmare to dream weaver was smooth on the top and choppy after the big turn. Temperatures were around 40 and light rain began to fall around 500PM just as Eaf predicted. Main Street had great carving snow on the top and moderate chop on the lower half. After 7 runs we went to the parking lot and NMSki and Ryan arrived. I had a citrus IPA in the lot and some pretzels and took a pocket beer with me..repeated Main Street, NMDW and mostly skied razors..rain held off a few runs then began to fall again. Total count for me was 7 razors runs, 5 nightmare dreamweaver runs and 2 on Main Street. I retired to the lot around 710pm with Atomic Jeff and Ryan and NMSki managed 4-5 more runs until 750pm Fun was had in the lot I drank one of Atomic Jeff’s beers which was 8.5% and NMSki offered me a beer and I said only if it was under 11% and it was 10% so all good..it’s hard to remember a rainy night skiing session on 3/27 that was fully opened at Blue and it was a great time skiing..I’m sore of out of touch but I think they’re closed tomorrow and Thursday due to rain but it should be litty like bouncing titties Friday and Saturday. While hanging out there was a party suburban with all kinds of lights. Was badass..like a mobile DJ. Sick bird. Just as we were leaving around 9pm they even put on a torch light parade and I snapped this sick picture.2 points

I finally found Phillycore and skied two runs down sidewinder with him and his kid. Great day for ski day #35 1:10 minutes to get there this morning. 1:15 getting home. This I-80 root is gonna save me a lot of time.2 points

How? Easily! Because they chose to save a few bucks in decent weather, it forced me to use the last ticket on MC... I freaking knew that MC is consistently sucking in spring, but since their snow report was saying otherwise, figured I'd give them a chance anyway... Well, got no surprise on the slopes, but since it was kind of expected, can't really blame MC. BM on the other hand is what really let me down here. So I demand a share of those pennies that they've saved to fix the damn skis!1 point

That was most unexpected. The robot is probably a toy from 50-60s, I've never seen it, but Karlson is easily recognizable.1 point

LOL. It's the bunny hill. The only ok place out there. I looped it like 10 times. Reminded me of early fall skiing on the only trail at BB.1 point

I see a high of 56 for Saturday, coupled with t2b bumps on Razors, skinny whips, it's gonna be hot! How I'm envisioning it!1 point

So couldn't you have rented some awesome Elons since you were there anyway?? Or tip lift attendants for braving the night rain? Then I wouldn't have to search for alternative destinations today.1 point

Crowds and snow conditions keep me away. Maybe when I retire and can ski during the week. On weekends, if I get to Frost when it opens I have East Mountain pretty much to myself for a few runs.1 point

Just got back from a great late March day at Jackson Frost. Surprised to arrive to a couple fresh inches of snow this morning. The woods are still in play although by noon it was obvious that its thinning out in places. Conditions were straight up dust on crust off the trails. Pretty hard where its been ridden and crusty otherwise. Conditions on the trails were great packed powder although started getting slow as the sun came out. The upper sections of T-bolt glade and Happyland were great. Also checked out Mad Tree to the right of Telstar. Those were fun, tighter than Solstice. Saw somebody drop over the edge of River Shot and decided to give Elevator a look. It's very much skiable and probably has been all week. The top was seriously bumped up. I took one run down Elevator and the combination of really steep pitch and massive bumps was hard to deal with. Something I'd like to work on. If you can ski that confidently then you are a good skier. Saw a guy send Risk It and stomp the landing. Made it look easy so I tried it. Conditions are not... great for dropping that. I sent the left cliff section and couldn't hold the landing together on the short jib board I brought up this time. For whatever reason I thought there wouldn't be anything else to do so I'd try the park out. I guess it was that terrain park conversation we had the other week. Anyway, the landing zone is pretty hard. My knee is still complaining about it and I blame PASR for making me do it. All in all a pretty darn good day for late March in PA. Will be back after the rain to wrap up the season next weekend and probably one more time in mid April when its nice an warm for BB's last day.1 point

Last ski trip of the year today. Got to bring my 7 year old daughter and my 10 year old son to JF today. Arrived at the mountain at 10:15. Lot was pretty empty and so was the lodge. Threw an edgy-wedgie on the my daughters skis and brought her over to Snowflake, Powder Puff and Frosty. We did each trail about 2 times. My son was being pretty supportive and skiing backwards to help her out. Our last run before the break was down Ridge Runner. She handled the trail well. We went in lodge for hot chocolate and cookies. After our break she wanted to try easy rider. On the lift ride up she wanted to do Lehigh. I was a little worried about the headwall but she had no problem. We took a run down Janes Lane and then back in for a lunch break. We finished the day doing Easy rider so my son could do Spunky's secret. His first run through he was excited to get some air jumping back on the trail. The next time he hit the same jump he fell and hurt his back a little. He was pretty upset to end his year on a fall. I am glad that the kids had a great day and hoping that my daughter will ski more next year. She said, "I want to stay in the hotel next year(Vermont)," so that is a good sign that she like skiing. Snow was still great and decent coverage in the glades. Looked more like January conditions then late March.1 point

The NJ medical program just got upgraded light-years ahead. Here's a link to the report and some highlights... http://www.state.nj.us/health/medicalmarijuana/documents/EO6Report_Final.pdf REDUCE REGISTRATION FEES The Department plans to revise N.J.A.C. 8:64-2.1(1)(c) to reduce registration fees (from $200 to $100) ELIMINATE THE PHYSICIAN REGISTRY The Department plans to eliminate N.J.A.C. 8:64-2.4 and revise associated rules, which requires physicians interested in providing care to MMP patients to first register with the Department. In turn, these physicians were listed on the Department’s public website in a physician registry for patient convenience. The Department’s elimination of the physician registry will permit any New Jersey physician in good standing and in possession of an active controlled dangerous substances registration issued by the State Division of Consumer Affairs to authorize medicinal marijuana for their qualifying patients. ELIMINATE 10% THC LIMIT The Department plans to repeal N.J.A.C. 8:64-10.7(c) to remove the 10% THC limit for product sold1 point
