Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. In the house were Atomic Jeff, GSSucks, Antman, Shadows, JohnnyLaw,!Justo, Eaf, Salty, JFDan, Indiggio, Slim, Root, TheRealKevinThomas, PARidge, Ty, Gary, Gary, Gary, MBike Mike, enjorales, Enjorales dad, SallyCat and many others. Temperatures began around 30 and rose nearly 25 degrees throughout the morning and early afternoon. My favorite runs were Razors Edge and nightmare to dreamweaver. Challenge deserves an honerable mention early on. It was pretty nice..the middle razors bumps were also good and fast. I’m began my day with 9-10 fast runs followed by an early parking lot sesh with some beer and snacks then another hour+ on the snow followed by more parking lot fun. Temperatures topped out around the low 50s by 2pm. Now the word is that blue will be open Monday. That is sick. I don’t know if I’ll be there first thing or after work. Depends on the weather but now I can say that my blue season isn’t over yet. All in all a fun spring day.

Great bluebird conditions. Snow got a little soft as the day went on but never got slushy. Got there at the new opening time of 10 AM, skied East Mountain for an hour or so and then lapped challenge and thunderbolt. Nice fast conditions all morning, no need to scrub speed at the top of Floyds or Lower River Shot. Crowd was very light, with no lift lines. Will try to get out again tomorrow for a season closer.

Today was a blast! A little cool in the morning but quickly warmed up and softened up. I rode from 8-1030. The new down rail is fun. Grabbed a coffee, talked to enjoralas dad for a bit then went back for session (2) and noticed i messed my board up AGAIN and never went back out! F***. Im going to have to do some maintenance. Spent some time in the lot, met Sally and a few others and hung with everyone for a bit. It was nice meeting all of you this season! To the people who will be up next Sat I look forward to seeing you and the people who wont i look forward to seeing you next season. I had to rep BWest today!

Ski the way you like to ski..different slopes for different folks.

Even if they were open to July I'd still be salty when they close but I'll try to remember mid Feb when it looked like they may not make march 15th.

It's open ended. Lately, a month or more in VT, then back in PA for a few weeks. Depends on what's going on. I'm planning on going back on the 13th for at least a coupla weeks to ski and start rehabbing the kitchen. Mostly moving stuff out of the cabinets, taking some more measurements, maybe start taking out the old cabinets, doing some electrical work and figuring out the plumbing for the new stuff. I plan to spend most of the spring and summer up there. Congrats on the move to VT!
