I’m leaving on my fifth annual skifari Wednesday morning flying southwest Newark to Denver and renting mid sized SUV from Alamo. I don’t have any hotel books but will likely stay at the silver inn in Silverthorne and maybe another locale as well. It’s been snowing out there the last week. Snow showers are in the forecast nearly every day during my trip which generally means snow overnight and sunny during the day..should be a nice last taste of winter unless we get a late April snowstorm...2 points

Ok, I'm at least on the fence for another visit to Blue. I don't want to wreck my 100% powder days at Blue.2 points

GSS asked, so this is not MY thread-jack: Sally is my old cat; I'd had her since grad school in Missouri a million years ago. She died peacefully in her sleep last year, dreaming of snuggles. She was the best. Now I have Jack. He likes yelling all the time and pooping wherever he feels like it because fuck you. He is the best.2 points

Wow, $10 tickets for closing day this Saturday at Montage. Good on them. Will be there, have tickets that I bought on Sweet Deals. Turns out I could have saved $4.50. Go figure.1 point

SallyCat that’s the way things have been for me since I started going to bars. Stay interesting!!!1 point

I can relate! I've been having a TON of fun here in VT sitting at bars and chatting with people. Everyone's so friendly and happy to meet someone moving to the state. I bop around skiing or doing errands all day, and if it's evening and I'm hungry I just plunk myself on a barstool. I've met really amazing people and been given solid local information and advice.1 point

I’ve been talking to a father son at the local Irish bar from Duluth Minnesota..they ran out jack Daniels a drinking a Moscow mule. Helping them out at trivia. They asked if I had a WAG. Wild ass guess.1 point

It’s a marijuana concentrate also called wax. I also Dab on the haters. Stopped and got two kinds of weed, chocolate bar, pipe and lighter all under $60. Prices have gone down here since my first skifari here four years ago. Now at the Cum and Go prob just get a ghetto slice of pizza..and get back on the road. I’ve already seen like 4 people who look like Johnny law.1 point

Boulder is a different climate than where I’ll be. Anyway looks like Friday-Tuesday there could be snow in the mountains. Boulder will likely be 60 and sunny.1 point

Arcaro & Genell is phenomenal as well, I've had them several times. Revello's is usually the go to because it's my mom's favorite. It'll just be me and my dad tho, so maybe split a half tray of A&G sausage for lunch, and grab a couple trays parbaked from Revello's to bring home to the family. I was born in Scranton and lived in the area until I was 10, have been back many times as I still have extended family in the area.1 point

Thanks. I’m not worried, the ticket is paid for and I’m sure we’ll have fun on whatever’s left. If it’s just awful we can always head down to Blue, it’s on the way home. After lunch at Revellos or Coney Island Lunch, of course1 point
