This along with with the real-time highway cameras here means you can see snow conditions very clearly: http://www.511pa.com/Cameras.aspx
Most likely won't be sticking with these, my instep height continues to be very challenging, and the heel pocket is just a little too narrow. Both could be workable, but I'm trying another option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like the 250 hPa level to show the jet stream to give an idea as to if it's going to bring down the arctic cold.

This website is dope to understand the big picture, out near greenland is the NAO and currently you can see that's it's cold here becuause all the air is coming out of Canada.

Each to their own. I’m not judging. I can understand not wanting to drive 600 miles round trip to Killington to hike the stairway, but this is potentially 2 extra weeks of skiing basically in your backyard... Side note: With your skiing style, I can see why BB wouldn’t be appealing...

Heres what i have learned watching this unfold from years past. They always do "boulder gives back", so for like 15 of the most dented, mutilated, and cheapest can goods, you can get a free lift ticket. This tends to bring out every asshole with access to Moms pantry, and a lowered honda civic with one of those cool ass exhaust pipe things. They will only spin Freedom lift when they do this. My hope is that they do this Friday. Skiing Friday night isnt on my radar at all. Hopefully they can get snow down on some other trail as well. this might be wishful thinking, but so be it. If they do, they will open that the day after the can goods fiasco. In years past, they have also promised the second trail for day 2, but opened it hours after opening. Ask Guitar73.
But if it snows here why would I have to go up to hazleton to ski a little hill. The reason I went up there is because that was as far south as the snowline went. This season you should come up to blue and ride and hangout with the PASRs. Since you’re a ski patroller you can probably get a free lift ticket or salty will let you use his buddy pass in exchange for a 5 pack of Yoo Hoo
