The stretch of cold we had the last 36 hours has significantly helped. Everything seems to be resurfaced back to what it should be. It’s nice skiing on white snow again without lollipops marking dirt everywhere. Clouds moving out now, so visibility isn’t ideal, but the snow is like butter (Doug’s favorite color, food, girlfriend, etc) and the grooming is good again.9 points

No shit. You remember how many sesame seeds were on your whopper bun in September 17th, 1996.8 points

I'm pretty sure Schif meant to say "getting Razors open so the fucking race team wasnt set up all over the other 4 trails that are open to the public would make weekend mornings infinitely more fun." I think he was trying to be polite.6 points

Well then don’t use the stats page at all if you aren’t gonna take it seriously.3 points

In reality, BMR will close Razors, AND still invade every fucking trail except Vista and Burma.3 points

That's exactly what I fucking meant. Those damn kids are a plague on that mountain the way it is now.3 points

If you can make opening bell..you can sometimes get one if not two quick runs on razors before it’s closed to the race team...now a few times it’s been uber solid snow from the Urea they blow on it...back when they opened at 730am you could get 4 runs on razors before the race team got it. Once race season ends in March the public gets razors weekday mornings. Yes it’s arguably the best run south of Floyd’s folly but it was built specifically as the top race venue in mid Atlantic. You know now what I want to ski...nightmare to Dream Weaver and switchback..even sidewinder although I wish they brought back the school bus. That was rad.3 points

We used to cut the hospitals grass. Couple other places up there too. Before that park got redone it was kinda dead. Everything is better compared to being a kid. You can actually do stuff2 points

Ok. Stats is serious business. I added another day since I wrote a trip report. Once I figure out what other days I skied I will update my stats!2 points

Palmerton is awesome. Much better as an adult as it was to me as a kid. There are some really good restaurants and bars, Claude’s is great, the parks are great, Blue is close, the AT and Lehigh Gap are close, relatively cheap to live.1 point

Call me crazy but I like P Town. They have a nice park in the middle of town, is at the base of a mountain, a few decent restaurants, close to the LV, close to skiing, hiking and last but definitely not least....Claude's Creamery1 point

Salty I see you updated your stats but there’s a problem...you only put in opening day and this past sausage Sunday 2.0 not the other 2-3 days you skied in between...behave.1 point

For some reason Steeze only gets a 1 day ban for posting but I get a lifetime ban. I'll try to get to Blue Thursday night.1 point

Only until 10:30 or 11ish. When ever the race team is done rutting it up. Spring weekdays on Razor's are the best.1 point

Been looking there too. There are a lot of places for sale in carbon county. A few years ago I almost bought a mobile home in the park you can see from the top of Blue Mt.1 point

I believe it's still within the valley area, as the mountains are immediately to the East. https://www.sltrib.com/news/environment/2018/01/09/utahs-air-quality-is-sickening-even-killing-locals-year-round-new-research-suggests/1 point
