Arrived at 630 and was on the snow at 7 with AtomicSkier. No buses in sight and rode onto the lift every run. Seemed like people were scared of the rain and it was just us and the race team. Snow was great everywhere, smooth and grippy. Only ones we didn’t get to was Lazy and Vista/Burma. Razors opened at about 8 and had some ruts from the course but the snow was good. Met up with the Dude and had some laps. We were checking the radar and rain was close but we didn’t feel any until we were off the snow at 850. ROTN was Blue Mountain. Had a couple beers in the lot and were able to see someone with there snow board on the roof and the board slide onto the hood then road when he braked before exiting the lot. No roof rack, he just set it there before leaving. Fun night watching Atomics back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edit: Whales on Sidewinder and people on it getting those freshies even though it was closed. Probably enough to open it but not edge to edge.7 points

Eh, I can see it now, you wake up at o-dark-thirty, pad around the house for a while, swear at the weather report and generally be in a bored $@&/ mood. Jenny wakes up and asks you why you are still home and glares at you. You figure anything at the hill will be better than this and off you go. And redux for the next fuck shit day too. And again..... So basically you may get powder jaded, but you’ll still be skiing everyday. You know I’m right. And to all you other assholes; I’m a lot closer to retirement than you all so I plan on crashing in one of those bunk beds a month at a time. Deal with it. Plus I get bottom bunk because my bladder is way to old to deal with top bunk5 points

If I could, certainly I would. Not to rip on P-Ass completely. There's a lot of cool things to do and thank God there is skiing at the very least but man shits never consistent. It's either too cold (single digits, sub zero type shit), to wet, too dry, too warm, too sugary, too vertically challenged, too icy. There are those epic days but they are becoming few and far between it seems. Great...im officially one of those people that complains about the weather now. Time to check on the Elk day poll....3 points

The whole weather thing in our area is just becoming tiring. Cold temps, no snow. Warm temps, heavy rain. At some fucking point, this rain every three days needs to stop.3 points

Got in line at 8:54. Busy day on a Thursday. We got 2nd chair off Silver Queen lift. Visibility was near zero at the top and not much better by the time we got to Paradise Bowl. Did 2 runs off Paradise and you really couldn’t see shit until you were 2/3 way down. We then headed over to Easy River lift thinking since it’s lower we would have better visibility. It wasn’t much better there but good enough. Black Eagle off that lift was ROTD. Snowed overnight and there was untouched 3” on top of groomed....perfection. Not the push piles and chop of Monday (although that was still fun). Ended up w 7 runs total as we had to get back. Packing up now to head off to Ouray soon. Ps. It was freezing. So what if you become jaded and people don’t seem to remember that there can be some serious dog shit conditions in the Rockies although not as common as here. If it’s snowy and cold and then gets warm and then cold again anything off piste is rowdy..you also have to sometimes deal with flat light and vertigo. Thankfully wherever I’ve visited out west and even in Europe I come across folks from Jersey. Remember Jersey isn’t just a state but a state of mind.2 points

This weekend is their WinterFest thing. might impact crowds. Sure it still won't be insane. Planning to be there both Saturday and Sunday. Probably skiing Boulder tomorrow evening for the WXTU thing, a friend from work is gonna be there and I told him I'd try to come up after a work thing I've got.1 point

Maybe a foot of base between the rain and warmth..it’s cool they have plenty the only thing I could see getting thin is lower sidewinder skiercross. Looks like really good snowmaking temperatures Friday night. Dress warm if you’re out Saturday AM1 point

After today’s rain and melt the snowmaking ponds will definitely be full.1 point

What about early morning cord? I’ve noticed not many buses on Tuesday’s and in seasons past tuesdays have had a moderate amount of buses. More buses than ever Thursdays. Honestly they should just open today at 4pm that’s when the snow will be the best before it freezes solid tonight.1 point

I'll visit and bring you LT beer for you and your wife. I know you can't turn that down. Hazy IPAs aren't too common out there like here.1 point
