Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:19AM and it was a comfortable 28 degrees under mostly cloudy sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Johnny Law, Shadows, Salty, employee in our row, MBike Mike, Mrs snowbunski, Ryan, Root, Antman, Mute, Toast, Justo, Rose, Eaf, Ski2Live, Ty, AngryHugo, Schifdawg, enjorales, Enjorales dad, Slim, concussion Ted and many others. I ended up on the second civilian six pack and challenge was sweet cord..Main Street was the run of the day and so good..switchback was ok early and got icy..nightmare to dreamweaver was also good early and I even sampled lazy mike once and saw toast and shadows on tele skis. Razors was closed due to racing. No real serious liftlines but definitely a lot of people out and Blue was making some Johnny cash. The parking lot was fun with beer and all all sorts of grilled meats thanks to Enjorales and later I even had two of MBike mikes famous beef and cheese sandwiches when it was 40 degrees and the sun was coming out. All in all it was a really fun sausage Sunday with a lot of PASRs in attendance.7 points

Finally made it out. Pretty lame that this was the first ski of the year(been busy with kids sports). Arrived around 9:00 with wife, son and 8 year old daughter. Everyone was excited when I fell on Snowflake about 30 seconds into my first run. I was trying to work with my daughter and she zipped off and I turned to yell to the others and crossed my skis. Pretty funny. We skied snowflake, powder puff and frosty as we tried to get my daughter comfortable. She was doing well so we went down Ridge Run and Easy Rider. Went to the lodge to warm up. Important that she has fun so she will continue coming with us. After the break I headed to Exhibition, Thunderbolt and Challenge with my son as my wife stayed on the greens with daughter. A little icy at spots on exhibition and Thunderbolt but still pretty decent conditions. Challenge always seems to have the best snow and was the most fun of the day. We took the lift up East Mountain but got a call from my wife that my daughter was bored and wanted to do some of the other trails. We hit challenge again and went into the glades. Then we went down the terrain park to meet up at a lift with wife and daughter. We ended up doing a run on Janes way. Pretty icy on the headwall but my daughter did well. At this point she was tired so went back in to the lodge and we lapped Challenge a few more times. Overall a great day at the mountain. Lodge was pretty crowded. Headed to Whitehaven diner and Spent $23.00 to feed the whole family.5 points

Since Indiggio is northbound today I felt obligated to put in a major session. Skied with my tele friend and his kids from 9-5 with a break for lunch. Longest session at blue this season. Bumps got fun around 1-2 or so when boiler plate softened. Ditch on challenge was pretty good and guns n hoses on main was $ once the slab wall was stomped down. Edges on lazy were pretty good too. Fuck-shit run of the day goes to switchback. So bad I was laughing. All round great weekend at blue.4 points

Fun weekend with great snow. Best snow was on Lazy Mile IMO. VIP line came in CLUTCH 3x times today when the lines got the worst.... Pretty happy about this clip and think I can get a couple more tricks on this feature in the future.4 points

I'm still coming down from the meat high of this morning. Words cannot express my awe and gratitude towards @enjoralas for the kick ass food. As for the Schmoojie that was supposed to be a security deposit for the Shredators, but seeing how big of a hit it was I'll definitely go back and try to snag enough for more of you clowns.2 points

You were there too? That's funny, you must've converted to the lower lot 'cause we've been at the ropes fall and didn't see a familiar face. Well, unless we run into each other in the middle of the week, I guess it's gonna be only after the President's day weekend now. Next two weekends I'll be in Dolomiti, and I won't dare visiting Blue on such a grand weekend as the President's one. Btw, I wouldn't say that there were no real lift lines today. Sure, it was still OK around 10am but after 11-12 we had to ditch expresses and go to the slow lift and that side of the mountain. Right after we got stopped and schooled by the ski patrol on Paradise. "This trail is like a kiddie pool", - they've said: "I want you to finish the run reeeeal slow now". In revenge I went to the Slopeside Grill and cashed in the free dessert voucher.2 points

Woke up this morning feeling pretty sore. Since today was my free clinic I decided to let my friend use it since she had not signed up for any and was just using the free wall. I did a few routes on the free wall today. There was a competition goin gin that I watched for a while. Those athletes did some insane moves! Competition route. Ice, then rock, then more ice, then man made holds. Next year we may skip the festival and hire a private instructor for a day, then climb ourselves a day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk2 points

Lesson learned. Two doses of grilled meats in one day is less than ideal for your GI system.1 point

Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I pulled into the lower lot at 720am and it was around 20 degrees under partly sunny sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, employee who parks in our row, Johnny Law, Antman Toast, Ryan, PARidge, Mute, GSSucks, Schifdawg, Indiggio, Enjorales, Enjorales Dad, MBike mike, Nastar Glenn, Nastar Glenn’s daughter, Mrs snowbunski and many others. Razors was closed for races..first run was on challenge which was pretty smooth but also lipstick on a pig conditions, Main Street was a carpet was very grippy and nice..a little slow but you can’t have everything. Nightmare to dreamweaver had real nice cord earlier and switchback was nice initially as well. Crowds were moderate and no lift lines until close to 930 and later after I was done skiing looked like the lines backed up to the scanners which isn’t that crazy for mid season. Total Asian invasion and definitely some folks out for their first time for the season. Parking lot was fun..today was snack Sunday with cheese balls and cheddar horseradish kettle cooked chips..elite stud and tomorrow is sausage Sunday and the weather looks nice...Some nice quality runs the first hour and based on what people said conditions remained good at least past noon. Today was awesome. The snow was fantastic, but switchback got a little slick by the end of the morning. Big thanks to @JFskiDan who hooked me up with some K2 shreditors to demo today. Those things skied like a dream and also for thanks for hanging with me for a bit since I know I'm not exactly fast and I was like a bull in a china shop in the lift line. I got all over the mountain today and skied everything this side of the main street chair except Nightmare, Razors and Challenge. Tomorrow I might venture to the other side of the main street chair to check out the activities of the Winter Carnival. Overall it was a kick ass day. Dan, just let me know if you want a 32 oz of : Meme Fatigue Hazy IPA Dry Hopped with Mosaic & Simcoe / 7.2%, or Schmoojee Peach Tart Cherry Heavily Fruited Sour Ale with Lactose / 7.0% as a down payment on the rental.1 point

A lot of fun. Made my daughter get out of bed and go with me. First runs of the year on NMDW and Switchback...God how I missed them so! Each were spectacular. Great conditions everywhere except challenge which was cookiefied. Great morning... probably going back tonight for the winterfest and to ski with my 9 yo. Pics below of my kid and a few others on switchback and a gate shot. Yeah I know the race team sucks but it looked cool1 point
