Day 3 and final day for me, another great trip in the books with these A-holes in J-Hole as MrsSnoBunSki would say. My legs feel old and tired chasing these guys around, had to take a late morning break before rounding out the day on a few groomers off of apres vous and Teton lifts before meeting up for lunch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk11 points

I see what you tried to do here. Not quite the same but good effort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk11 points

Super fun Jackson Hole day! Minus 15 isn’t that bad when you’re workin it. My favorite runs of the day were Saratoga Bowl, and I split off from the guys to check out the Washakie glade/ Moran Face area which was real nice. Chilly drive to the village mbikeski at the bottom of bivouac scenery top of Saratoga bowl washakie glade10 points

You’re not losing a red cent. First of all, what you have is a non-liquid asset. It’s worth exactly zero in real terms. It’s worth what someone will pay for it in cash-convertible terms, which is what you appear to want to do with it. You have gift cards with X value in future Blue Mountain goods and services on them. That doesn’t make them worth X. It doesn’t even make them worth X-Y, where Y is the difference in value you perceive you should get. They are worth what someone is willing to pay. Second, you keep whining about how you paid taxes on them and are loosing (sic) money. Either you think we’re stupid, or you don’t know how taxes work. Okay, probably both. If you have gift cards with $1500 in value on them, you didn’t pay $1500 in taxes on those cards. Assuming you were in one of the highest tax brackets (hahahahah, unlikely) and paid about 30% on the “value” of those gift cards, you paid maybe $500 for them. So if I buy them from you for $1000, you are making a $500 profit. You aren’t losing anything. I’m not getting $500 free. I am purchasing from you, at a 100% markup, the ability to get a potential $300 discount on goods and services from Blue Mountain, not even the full $500 because as I stated above, the first 20% I don’t even count, as that deal can be had with enough patience. I don’t need your gift cards. I’m still sitting on almost a thousand dollars in Blue gift cards that I paid barely 50 cents on the dollar for. However, I’m still willing to honor my original, very civil and non-insulting offer, with a small modification; my spread has gone to 40 cents on the dollar from 33. That is, I am willing to purchase all that you have at 60 cents on the dollar. The education you just got costs something.7 points

Wow, today was a racing day! The weather has turned back to sunny, beautiful visibility. I got tired of exploring, and just went straight to Val Gardena, looking for some secluded trails, and found two amazingly good reds. Pristine conditions all day, no people at all (the crowds were meanwhile storming Sellaronda circle not too far away). I was skiing these two looong trails a good half of the day alternating and stopping for coffee or lunch from time to time. Hero snow, ridiculously easy carving, I was flying the reds on edges and couldn't have enough of it, not even for a moment bored. Speed, give me more speed! Love the Lasers, want to buy them so much now. And Mama Mia, what a terrific last day in Dolomites! Off to Venice now for a full day of apres-ski. Important part will be to make it to the airport in Milan after that in one piece.7 points

Awesome Day.....and for less than I regularly pay for a 4 pack. Great Spring conditions Great food. Great brew. Great crew. Stellar day of skiing in Pa. Had my first fall of the season and in true Phillycore form it didn't disappoint. Took a lip at a bad angle heading into the trees. I tried to change directions about 3' in the air from what I was told apparently my ski didn't like that as it made quite the bomb hole on a groomed run. Sent me sliding at mach looney into and through the safety fence until I scorpioned onto the big metal post that it was attached to at the end. Was one of those that I'd have liked to see video on as I got wrecked. It's also one of those times when being fat actually might have helped pad that impact. My wrist hurts the most probably as I used it to try and self arrest along with digging anything I could into the snow without much success. Trying to slow my fatass down is like stopping a Mack truck loaded with sand. As we all know...it's all good in this sport when you can get up and keep skiing. Almost beat this shit too.......but hey small price to pay for a day like today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk5 points

Jackson Hole Day 3 of 7 February 8th 2019. Hey All, Another fun day at Jackson hole mountain resort. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, NMSki and MBike Mike. Was a frigid start at boot up thirty and we had first civilian gondola again. Was fun hanging out in the gondola lineup...chatted with Florida boarder who’s always here late January to late February have seen him 8 of the last 9 trips here. A random guy in line asked how I was and I said fine and turns out he’s the guy who brought me my poles the other day when I had my yarddsale. I thanked him and chatted with him and his 9 year old son who’s friends with he Kemmerers who own the resort...also guy who’s brother golfs with Atomic Jeff at SV also was there... First run was amphitheater nice groomed snow a bit firmer than the last two days. Then up thunder down Grand to Sublette lift then over to Bivoac which had very grabby snow but decent bumps. Up Sublette again did first rendevous trail of the trip and it was good..nice and smooth and empty down to the thunder lift up thunder. I skied the thunder woods with Mike and NMSki and the snow was super good and soft and was technical with some luge type tracks. The snow is so deep that you are skiing up in the branches woo. Up thunder and then top of Ampitheater to Nez Pierce traverse over to Sundance fully back to the ice box that is the base..mad inversion Yo. Was gonna do the tram but decided on Saratoga bowl so took teewinot to Apres Vous and to Saratoga. Snow was very nice in there and best coverage I’ve ever seen I was skiing over giant snow covered boulders woo woo woo. Traverse out was the suck as always..it’s a gravity traverse but lots of whoop dees and a goofy luge track. Went up Apres Vous again then skies over to Kemmerer then skies wide open to stash park to Casper run to blacktail to lower Sundance gully to base. Had some orange power aid. Went back to car to switch over to shoes and then had a nice lunch at the Alpenhof. Today was the coldest day ive skied here with -15 at hotel, -24 along drive and about -18 booting up and I still dressed lighter than a 20 degree day at Blue although I wasn’t sweating today like the first two days. I’m feeling better and my appetite is back..looking forward to some Jackson Daniels and Stoke and some fun later at the cowboy bar. JADIJH5 points

What an awesome day! First off big props to Rummy for the food and the hospitality. Amazing! As for the skiing...so much fun skiing with everyone today. Snow was great. Lots of laughs and good times and great people. I missed PCs incident (happened behind me) but was really happy to see him ok and back to cracking jokes and being himself! After lunch I took a few more runs then Rummy drove me over to TLCITW which is one of the coolest ski chalet type places I've ever seen. Glad we made this happen. And Rummy the red carpet awaits you my friend at Blue! Just let us know when you're coming.4 points

What happened to your skis? Pro tip: don’t attach your ticket so high up on jacket, it gets annoying flapping around up there. Use your jacket hand pockets or preferably your ski pant pockets3 points
