  2. Lol, you simply don’t understand the difference between a liquid asset, and merchandise, which is what you have. The reason they WOULDN’T give you cash, is because WHAT THEY GAVE YOU ISN’T WORTH $1500! The Blue bux or whatever they call it is their way of rewarding their front line grunts with something that feels like it’s worth a lot more than it is. They give you mountain credit knowing that you will have to trade it in for things that ACTUALLY cost them far less than the price on the tag. And if they get redeemed for passes, even better, because the marginal cost is negligent and the reduced potential liability (this is what a gift card truly represents to a merchant) is significant. Look, I’ve been real nice to you in this thread so far, but I can tell we’re simply not playing on the same mental plane here, so for this one last post, i’ll speak your language: You are a ignorant moron who doesn’t understand the basic concepts of economics. I fear for you to think that sandwich slinger at Blue Mountain might have been your primary source of income, but considering racking up that much Blue Bux at 4 bits an hour – well, I just pray there are no dependents. You’re obviously not the sharpest edge in the ski shop because if you had more brains in your head than shit in your pants you would have at some point in the 5 alleged years you were employed at Blue found some way to get yourself into a more lucrative situation there than hairnet jockey, maybe giving lessons and hustling for tips and picking up some real coin instead of drowning in the grease trap and thinking you were getting one over on the man every time you snuck a chicken finger when the boss wasn’t looking. I’ve never spoked pot (sic) in my life, not that I give a rat’s ass what some toothless zinc-y no name coward on the Internet thinks of me anyway. Have fun trying to hawk your gift cards on the elsewhere of life; realize that you came into the middle of a hangout of a couple dozen of the most hardcore Blue regulars that exist, people who are at the mountain literally every weekend, and couldn’t comport yourself with enough decorum, intelligence and dignity to get a decent cash return for your non-cash (I really can’t stress that too many times) asset, so good fuckin’ luck with the Toms, Dicks and Harrys of the world. I hope you get your kidneys harvested in a Craigslist sale gone wrong. Fuck Off And Die, and please try to center all the toppings on my Quarter Pounder the next time I come through the drive-thru, I hate it when you fuckers just sling that shit in there all willy nilly and I get a half a cheese slice stuck to the package.

  3. Day 4. Last ski day for me. Great day. Just a little bit of snow fell overnight, and it was just enough to make the morning groomers silky smooth, and put down a nice refresh layer in the trees. Ran a bunch of groomers off Thunder and Sublet. I missed yesterdays run down Saratoga bowl, so we headed over in a round about way to Teton quad where Dooglas left for his snacks. NMSKI and Atomic made a detour down Washakie Glade, I choose to stick to the groomer knowing my legs were gonna go away fast, and i really wanted to check out Saratoga Bowl. Up Apres Vous to Saratoga Bowl. Fun stuff in Saratoga, trees, bumps, what have you. Good stuff. This didnt seem like a heavily traveled area, and its probably because the traverse back out is spicey. Back out at the lift, Dooglas caught up to us. Back up Apres-Vous. With the forecast for the next few days looking snowy, Doug and Jeff, called it, and went to the Unkept Moose to grab us a table. Legs were feeling OK, and Tom is always up to make that one last run. At the top, we planned on just dabbling in and out of the trees, making out way to the bottom. We heading back into the Washakie Glades, which were fun, but popular. We were taking our time, and about halfway down, we decided to try to stay in the trees all the way to the bottom. We made it about as far down as possible, ending in a very untraveled area that had lots of perder in it, which made me think we would end up in a creek at anytime. No creeks and we made it out unscathed. Some pics from today. I think the camera on my phone is lacking in the clarity department, but here we go.

  7. Another great day at Jackson Hole. Saratoga Bowl was again awesome. I don't think I've ever skied it with so much coverage. I managed to grab a couple pics of @NMSKI shredding the gnar.

  10. Hey everyone, I’m Antmans cousin. As many of you know, he can’t ride the rest of this season which is a huge bummer. Can’t wait till next season to ride with ya again cuz. We were both peak pass holders this season so I decided to head out towards roundtop today. Was not sure what to expect at all considering the trail map doesn’t show you too much detail. Rolled outta my house at 630 and got there around 830. Not too crowded at all. They were blowing snow all night and still when I left there which was a super nice touch. They left some trails not groomed so there was a few trails that had some major whale sightings. All in all the mountian was very similar to Jack Frost. Snow was super nice. Trails were too long and lifts lines were very fast. Terrain park was a little on the smaller side but still fun. Below are a few pics from the mountian. After this I ran over to liberty which is also on the peak pass. Place was jammed packed. Snow was beat up. The mountain looks like it has so much potential to be a lot of fun but it was just too crowded and icy today to really experience it all. Cheers!

  11. Great day today and way warmer than yesterday too. Nice surprise inch of snow made things a tiny bit softer and trees were great fun again. Today was my last day at Jackson Hole this year but I hope I’ll be able to come back in the near future. Got a few pics of JFSkiDan in Washakie.

  21. Invisible Charc is definitely not giffcards. He actually has the capability of rational thought, even though it’s most of the time misdirected. This wasn’t even a bad TR, just waxing a bit too poetic for the crowd about a subject most of the crowd doesn’t care much for (parks) using references most wouldn’t get unless they carried a subscription to Thrasher magazine back in the day and count among their most worldly possessions their VHS copy of Gleaming the Cube. I’m sure Blue stealing from us is about how they take our money for lift tickets only to make us stand in long lines on the weekend, and also close 2-4 trails for racing despite charging full price. Oh, and also how their website promises trails grand vistas of the Rockies but fails to deliver.

  29. Saturday February 9th Day 4 of 7.. Hey all, I’m back from another fun day at Jackson hole mountain resort. Last night was like a Chumbawumba song quite literally between falling on ice in the street and drinking a lot of whiskey drinks and a bird bath Margarita. I woke up this morning a little hungover but ready to slay some Perder. First civilian gondola today down amphitheater with a beautiful inch and a half of fluff..first civilian Thunder chair and maybe even 2” on the Grand. Up Sublette went down the cirque which was ok then back to Thunder again. Then skies the upper part of amphitheater twice below the expert chutes which we don’t ski often but we knew there’d be some Purr purr purder and there was on top of smooth groomed snow. Made our way over to Casper lift via Nez Perce and into Moran woods and Moran face which was the run of the day for me because the snow was so forgiving and the little bit of snow provided a little extra cushion for the pushing...down to Teton lift then I split up from the guys cause I needed something to drink..my throat was killing me and eating snow wasn’t cutting it so I took wide open to the stash park on Casper which still had some untouched down to Casper lodge...saw the burly local who I almost got into a fight with a decade ago In the gondola line. Went in had some Doritos and Powerade I wanted a soft pretzel but they weren’t out yet. Chatted with a chick from California who shared my table..she’s an Ikon pass holder, her 8th day using Ikon pass this season. Webt back out on the snow traversed over to Apres Vous and caught back up with the group then skied a little more off Apres Vous snow wasn’t that great over there and was sort of crowded...Apres ski was at the mangy moose and I had a cheeseburger in Paradise and when Shake that Laffy Taffy came on most of the younger people were doing a little wiggle but I actually know how to do that move. I’ll show all of y’all at blue next week. All in all a fun day..JFDan, MBike Mike and NMSki had a blast on this trip and me and Atomic Jeff have three more ski days all of them should be pow days. It’s starting to snow now. I’m saying 30-40” by Tuesday on the upper mountain..gonna be Great..

  43. Thursday February 7th day 2 of 7. Hey All, Another great day at Jackson Hole mountain resort. In the house were Atomic Jeff, NMSki, MBike Mike and JFDan. When we left the Elk country inn in at 740..there was a bit of light snow falling with sun peaking through as well. Less people than yesterday and managed first civilian gondola. First run on Ampitheater..was perfect. Great groomed snow with an inch of the lightest dryest fluffiest perder..if a midget farted it would have displaced all the snow.. Up thunder down grand to sublette lift. The warmup was over time for the meat and potatoes. Bivoac woods and trail was nice snow and Atomic Jeff and NMSki hiked the headwall again. Then did the cirque which was nice but not as good as yesterday. Up thunder and another grand back to sublette lift and me, Dan and mike skied Bird in hand to table rock while NMSki and Atomic Jeff skied Alta 1 chute. Up sublette again and over to the Hobacks. The Hobacks were pretty nice and tiring I was sweating buckets by the bottom then got cold..Katie Perry shit. Union pass lift to teewinot to apres vous and over to Teton lift. On the way to Teton lift some out of control Jerry going down Kemmerer and went over the cat track and had a bad fall. I was loudly saying how he needs lessons and that he’s gonna kill him self if he skis like that. His friend blames Jackson hole for not marking the cat track lol. Sure blame the ski area for the Herbs..SMHerman. Up Teton and some real nice woods down to Casper lift then down Jackson face for a drink at the new solitude station..then down to the base..back to the car to switch into sneakers then to the mangy moose..now the boys are singing Bad Moon Rising singing about fire in their butt and a bathroom on the right. I like the Ad Libs.
