  1. Fun morning. Snow was mostly packed sugar, some spots were crushed cookies. I think it depended on what time they groomed the trail as temperatures dropped below freezing over night. Arrived to 32° and blue skies at 820. Saw TP4 in the lot but didn’t see him after he got first chair. Snow was fast it was a little busier then usual Thursday’s. Took it easy at the bottom of Razors, looking for the Roots Rollers but it must have be groomed out because I didn’t see any. Razors was blown on last night and you could feel it stick hitting the patches. Sidewinder was my ROTM, but it was all pretty good. Off the snow at 1015 and at work by 11. 2. So you joined this message board to post about what assholes we all are for not wanting to buy gift cards at face value? And in doing so writing the longest run on sentence I have ever read. Got it. Welcome to PASR. Looking forward to your trip reports.

  3. I'm out. Going up to Plattekill and Belleayre for a day each with wife and kids. Tuesday or Thursday night next for me at Blue.

  4. Fair trade off in my opinion, $20 in cocoa sales for one less person ducking ropes to ski rad snowmaking whales on sidewinder.

  6. @diehard skier I say this with all sincerity; all the energy and time you are going to put into fighting on the internet.....do something constructive instead. Go ski, take pictures, post them here. We want new members here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I was there from around 830 to 330. Had to strip some layers off around 10. Conditions were good once it warmed up a little. Had a great time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  12. I'm definitely coming back. JH is too good and life is too short. Totally agree with you here. Staying ahead of the crowds is great. That whole Moran Face (washakie) area and Saratoga Bowl skied real nice too. Moran Face, Saratoga Bowl, Alta 1, the Headwall, Expert Chutes and Crags Hike-to were all on my list to check off this year. Gotta go back for the Expert Chutes and Crags hike-to stuff.

  13. It really helps that you were there 2 years in a row, know where things are, and can route find pretty well.

  14. As pretty much did i the first time, this year i had a better idea of the early AM route off of the gondi. I like the root, first thing in the AM its sweet whether its pow or groomed. I skied some new stuff there which i thought was real nice, Washakie glades, and saratoga bowl. I really liked the Bird in Hand - Table rock run we did. the choke at the bottom was pretty challenging.

  15. A bunch more pizzas and cocoas? lets be realistic here. Unless your definition of "a bunch" can be counted on one hand.

  17. I[ve been loving the Spatulas, Lhasa's and ARG's for the early powder runs, then keep the Coombas and 9th Wards in the truck for IB chowder, like today. Snow got denser by noon so I swapped out gear after lunch. Legit AM session with a fun crew. News Alert: I'm in early negotiations for a local pizza shop. And I'm at 195 lbs. If I can get to 185lbs, I'm ripping up my fat guy club card.

  21. Maybe you can add it to your Skiing music mix, it might be a little hokey for you since you usually listen to death metal.

  22. I don't like getting involved but i pointed that guy in the right direction for his gift cards. There is something wrong with this world when someone tries something and gets attacked for it. He tried to sell gift cards and nobody here had any respect for him. Value on gift cards your right are just a number on a card but if you buy food your saving money so it is still worth what is on the card then attacking him for what job he might have had up there you don't have any idea what he did and from what i hear up there if you become full time you get good benefits and start making real money unlike a seasonal employee so have a little courtesy in this screwed up world we live in.

  25. I also realized that I never skied cheyanne gully with NMSki,JFDan and MBike Mike...all y’all will have to come back again so we can ski it. That’s a fun fun run that leads to either north Hoback or lower Sublette ridge...like a natural halfpipe

  27. Crowlers are where it's at. I'm kind of over the whole growler thing at this point. It's getting stupid expensive and the quality isn't there.

  31. I’m going to start my Jackson hole..the good the bad the ugly...it’s probably gonna end up being long..A lot happened in the last 9 days...being home in one piece is a major accomplishment. I was treated like a VIP by all hands down..only douches were the Teton Gravity mags bitching about the Ikon pass..I think it’s super good for the sport get over it..Most of y’all are from New Jersey and became skibums because you got waitlisted at your safety school. And you aren’t a true bro if you bitch about where tourists sit on a bus who were first on..dude was like,”wow they got on first they should sit in the back so they’re last to leave..no bro first on sits where they want and can manspread a bit until it gets real crowded... You can not beat first gondola. Ride with the coolest locals who live for skiing.Worse places to catch up on PASR and Facebook and radars and Blue mountain webcams than next to the scanners and watching people get in line who I probably won’t see again till the third run unless I wipeout on first run and they’re the ones picking up my bent poles. To Be Continued...

  38. It’s such a stupid thing to be illegal. I don’t partake myself, but have plenty of friends that do and I’m on the side of legalizing it, there’s too much upside to not. A family member of mine is a cop. I asked him before out of all the traffic accidents he’s worked, how many of them involved someone “under the influence” of marijuana. Under 10%.

  41. All of them open at 9, unless of course they get delayed for bombs. Personally i think the tram is overrated, and the gondi is the way to go. you can actually get a ride up to solitude station before 9, but it really doesnt get you anything stellar except maybe a cocoa you could split with Mute. I have been looking at the cams for a week or so now, and thats the biggest line up i have seen. I would say the lineup for the tram started before 7.
