  2. 45 minutes is nothing if you get a better mountain

  3. I was up for about 3 hrs, I saw zz in the lodge and said hi but he must not of heard me. Edge's car was in the lot. Maybe and inch over some pretty firm crust at first, maybe 2/3 inches total by the time I left. Razors to razor back had good consistent soft snow, everything else was a mix of softer stuff and icy crystals that was a little hooky.

  4. Thanks...if any of you guys venture up to Montage, let me know and I'll make sure I bring extra beer. I ride solo all the time anyway. I'm gonna try to go again this weekend, but if it rains I may cut out of work early Friday and do an afternoon session.

  5. Mute, Ryan, and I will keep the PASR tradition alive of soiling the room, mowing breakfast, and peeing in the pool. No worries.

  6. Another 3” new and snowing at Jackson hole. Shazam. The 400” mark is approaching. Good: The Ikon Pass is bringing a lot of first time visitors to Jackson hole Bad: The jaded locals are anti Ikon passholders ugly: The best skier on the mountain is an Ikon passholder.

  7. Hey All, I’m back from a fun evening session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 620pm just a minute too late to see NMSki in his righty whities. Also in the house were Johnny Law, Atomic Jeff, Indiggio and Denise. The temperature was around 30 with light winds and a full moon. First run was down Main Street and it had a few bumps and some sugar and even a few Root rollers. Next run on lazy mile was crazy mile and not the best snow. Paradise was the run of the night smooth and semi fast and no SP3000. One run on Dream Weaver was filled with unmarked Root rollers and Switchback was smooth and slick...I skied until 830 and the boys did another run or two then had two beers and some of Schifdawgs famous cheese balls in the lot. All in all a fun night session and only a handful of buses. JADIP

  9. I drive route 1 south for 17 miles from the intersection of 202 in Glenn mills and it was just wet with a few patches of slush along the way. No traffic, hit every green light, was at happy hour and enjoying a beer by 4:55.

  11. Yes (owned, closed this past summer). Let's not confuse red coat Bruce (his brother lives near me) with "Bruce" in the Mangy. That guy will eye an uneaten slice of pizza at the Mangy all the way from the Four Seasons.

  17. Oh and I didn’t mention in thread I skied in my new pants for the first time. Doesn’t seem like a big deal to me but first new ski pants in about 11 years. They’re better than expected. Yes a little long but not out of the ordinary.

  20. I wonder what it would be like to ski on a clear night under a big super moon with the trail lights off

  21. I cleared off my car with heat and old ski gloves. When you drive a sports car you want it to look clean.

  24. You, Toast and Ryan should try to find him and fuck with him. Just for funsies.

  25. Website now says March 31st. Still better than last year where everyone was scrambling because of the "limited quantities"

  26. I'm pretty tempted by this .....I've never really thought about a Blue pass since I can be at BC in less than five minutes....But the BC passes are starting to take their toll.....Would mean at least a 45 minute drive(one way)with zero traffic...and a roof rack for the MINI..ugh

  27. I was going to make a post about how you are still dumb after two years but I won't because I love you too much and I don't want your buddy Ryan to get mad at me before we all go off to JH.

  28. Roads aren’t really that bad. It’s the incredibly dumb things people are doing on the roads.

  33. That happens, comes with age. But I hear you. JF section is soooo far down on the site, must be visited once in a blue moon. Not like JH right on top, in General.

  38. Because the 49er has free breakfast and is closer to the bagel place and I stayed there 10 years in a row. Even though the rooms are exactly the same as the 49er at elk country I’d still rather have stayed at the 49er. Last year was $$$$ because we could park right in front of rooms and not have to schlep our luggage and gear through interior mazes and hallways.

  45. The pants I got were about $40 each, but were in perfect condition. Would be bout $100 I think if I got them new. Plus I feel happy about reusing something and not contributing to waste.
