  1. Oh hello everybody. Toast here, filling in for Doug. I think he’s too busy with his sujopo life. Who is skiing at Blue this weekend? I know I’ll be there Saturday but not sure about Sunday morning with the incoming rain. Hope to see you all there! It should be good any way you slice it or dice it! Thank you, you’re welcome, and anytime!

  4. Crazy amount of birds migrating this morning. This went on for ~5 minutes and they were super loud squawking and because of how many their were you could hear their wings flapping.

  5. Well started this day a little later than I wanted to due to a thirsty Thursday at PJ Whelihan’s. Didn’t let it stop me though. Had the day off from work so headed up to JFBB. Overall Day was pretty solid. Spent about two hours or so at both mountains. Jack’s more advanced slopes were perfectly groomed. Glades weren’t all there and covered though. One park had some nice features to play around on. then headed over to Boulder. The Boulder Park run is hands down one of my favorite views in all of PA. They don’t have any terrain set up on it though. Just huge whales. Off to the side it looked like they were setting up a boarder cross race which looked 1000x better than blues set up on dream weaver. Best part about both places was that they weren’t crowded. No lift lines and just got right on for the next run

  8. I’ll try to keep this short and sweet because I’m tired. I arrived at the lower lot at 640pm and it was around 40 degrees and was pretty crowded and first time this season I had to park a row over. About 16 buses. In the house were Atomic Jeff, PARidge and Johnny Law. Snow was sort of early springish and due to the amount of traffic pretty choppy with some natural and manmade Root rollers on many runs. Main Street was nice on the top and rough on the bottom, same with lazy mile. Paradise had the nicest snow just like on Thursday and unfortunately SP3000...me and JLaw received a lecture outside the scanners then my final run I waited for the patroller who lectures us to start on Paradise then when I got near I stopped then made lots of slow and deliberate turns with him skiing beside me asking if I was ok. Then at the bottom as I was taking skis off he asked if it was my last run and I didn’t answer then he said have a nice night. All in all a fun evening and almost the weekend!!!

  9. A long overdue honor to one of PASRs greatest. Would be great if the trail was named after him.

  10. Blue Mountain would be all blue trails obviously. It's right there in the name. In my experience though all the trails that are open are usually white, occasionally they will have a slightly brown trail too. Sidewinder was a green until about 6 weeks ago if I recall.

  32. No truth..they’ll blow snow the last weekend if they want to or need to but I’d venture to guess that most of the snowmaking is finished as there’s plenty of base to make it through March unless there was a serious series of warm weather and monsoons.

  39. Cliffhanger is a double black and it would a blue square in Vermont. The blue square trail Starburst (or something) at Killington is probably just as steep. This new trial at Camelback should be a triple or even quadruple black diamond, per comments on that news website.
