Are you trying to mack on Tara? If so I'd clean up those responses a bit. "and who told you this" does not equate to additional text messages (among other things) from a girl who was clearly thinking about you. Unless Tara is your sister in which case it's fine.3 points

They better put in more drains if they’re going to pave the bottom lot....you know...because of all the storm runoff.2 points

I like your plan. and was totally messing around BTW... I don't doubt your abilities one bit as I've seen you mingle and charm people who park in the PASR section of the lot. Which, by the way, may finally be paved when Vail takes over.2 points

Let’s hope...as I’m pushing 40 my sponsorship opportunities are becoming limited. It’s all about spin to win with the young jibhonks..in my day if you could do a parallel stem Christie and a wedal turn you got a level 2 pin to put on your parka.1 point

I did look to see what Vail did with Okemo pass holders when the bought it last year and they did offer an upgrade option. https://www.epicpass.com/info/new-epic-resorts-faqs.aspx1 point

After mentioning that they got the go ahead from the "conservation folks" to open the new trail next year for natural snow, she said, loosely quoted, “And snowmaking is the next step, it’s a big expense. We’ve been in talks with some potential investors . . . We’re trying to put together a plan to get the snowmaking all put in for the next pod of trails to open. There’s some pretty big investors we’re talking to. The next 5 years or so are going to be very exciting.”1 point

Sounds like he wants you to think he knows something. That there’s news coming from Blue is no scoop was my point. Barb was pretty candid at the pass holder party.1 point

Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Camelback. My first time there since 2013. I arrived at the main lot below guest services around 8am and in the house were Root, TP4 and Blue mountain liftee bob wearing a deadhead shirt. After receiving free ticket went over to the CBK lodge to boot up. The temperature was in the mid 40s under sunny sky’s. Began on the Stevenson lift in the shadow of the new hotel...the hotel and water park are huge and the parking lot for them was pretty filled up. First skied Cliffhanger which was stiff cruddy snow and a little semi frozen coed. Did Nile mile and took a piss on one of the corners. Repeated nile and cliffhanger then cut across to the Sullivan lift. The snow near the peak was stiff semi stiff but softened pretty fast. Skied the famous front four Marjies, The Hump and Asp and the rocket. All good marjies and big pocono the best..then made way back over to the east side via pocono raceway which had nice smooth corn... Revisited Cliffhanger again and still not very good @saltyant would have been sad because it’s his favorite double diamond. By now Nile mike was prime...best spring snow on the mountains and I put the hammer down on the turns. Ended the session with pocono raceway one more time and back to the car. Skied 20 runs total in about 2 hours then hungover in the lot for maybe 45 minutes. I wasnt super excited to ski camelback today but hard to pass up on free April skiing and I don’t have fuck all to do..one thing is that closing day at Blue is rowdy and at camelback the crowd was really mellow..and yes I haven’t been to camelback in 6 years well liftee bob hasn’t been there since 1985 wow just wow.1 point

Jackson hole closed yesterday for the season and ended up with 506” this season. Today is employee day so that’s why you see some people on the webcams today.1 point

It is what it is. I live in PA. Feel lucky to have many skiing options within 20 minutes to an hour from my house. Blue is home I've had so many days / nights there this past season where I left feeling good. The day at Elk was awesome. Counting days is one thing. Counting those good days is what's important, whether in PA or otherwise1 point

I quit early when it gets crowded or conditions get shitty or I’m bored or would rather drink beer or take a nap or go to work. When I’m debooting at Blue often before 10am on weekends people just arriving give me weird looks...well you know what I give those fucktards weird looks as well cause it’s gonna take them double as long to ski lower quality runs...and when they return to their car for their peanut butter and fluff sandwiches and bud light limes I’ll probably still be in the lot..haters gonna hate hate hate.1 point

Yeah I don't keep track of stats either. Skiing/riding in PA is still fun for me though (although 2 days of cat skiing is going to be tough to beat, even though there was no fresh snow). I'm happy just to get out and do some runs, and if it sucks, there's always beer.1 point

I really like skiing, but lets face it, i kinda feel like skiing Blue is what i do in between skiing "other mountains," and by that i mean skiing on slopes comprised of snow dropped from heaven in large quantities, where the suckiest day is one where it hasnt snowed in 4 days. Blues conditions swing from sucksville to awesome and back again several times a season. And when it is awesome, its still just Blue. Same 8 trails over and over again. Glades at Blue are just pretty comical as well. The best day i ever had at blue was what, like February of 2013? Hasnt been quite a day there i remember to match that, a couple close, but nothing that good that i can remember in 5 years. Sking 200 dogshit runs in PA doesnt come close to the big smile i have on my face in one day out west. Skiing 1,021 runs at Camelback in a season, might not be something i personnaly would be super proud of. And i dont do stats, because all it will prove, is i ski in PA too much.1 point

For sure. Skiing should never be a chore, source of angst etc. It should be laid back, go at your pace, do what you feel type of stuff. Oh and it should never be fucking work. I've had various jobs in the industry and realized that right quick. For some people it can be for me it was a bad idea.1 point

I highly doubt that would be a record. Maybe a "logged record" on here though. I can pretty much guarantee that JF Dan, Ridge, and I have all topped that skiing an avg of 6 hours at Frost each weekend years ago. It's really easy to rack up runs there and boulder.....lol There was a time when I thought you could equal the amount of time skiing vs waiting in line at Jf to Blue (and you can but only at blues busiest hours) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I would definitely go if I were off. I guess the only place open during the week is Killington. One of the ladies I ski with is off Wednesday and Thursday, so am I. We could drive up Wednesday, stay overnight, ski Thursday, then drive home. Not sure I want to spend the money with this oral surgery bill hanging over my head. Oh well, better to get the surgery over with now and not beginning or mid season.1 point

How do you figure more short runs are better than longer runs? The last 30 seconds of skiing a run at Blue you find yourself wishing you were standing in a lift line again?1 point

Watch those yellow coats. They were following us around on Thursday, very fascinated with our Blue crew.1 point

Great day of spring riding with Doug and Root. Only had to wear under armour and a t shirt. Didn't know this would be my last day, but looks like it is based on boulders Facebook. No big deal, this was one of my best seasons ever1 point
