Arrived at 840 and was on the snow at 859. 28 degrees and light snow falling but the roads were clear. Not much traffic with everything being closed. First run was wet snow on crust and not that smooth from grooming. Second run and the rest were slow to start, low visibility until you reached Midway. Lower Main was my RTD, it was the smoothest and softness. Snow got sticky and seemed like rain was mixing after a little. Left shortly after 10 with no issues on the roads. Hopefully it gets a little colder and drops some inches up there tonight.

Fun push piles on the sides of the trails. Mid way is decent. Looks like winter out here for sure

I really like Christmas, but not so much all the dumb shopping and the gift giving. Lots of nice parties with friends, a cool work party, seeing my family, etc. i like lights too. I just wish it could be simpler than it is.

Can I pay with scrip provided by my employer and/or gift cards that I have been given in exchange for that scrip? I most look forward to a robust negotiation session about how the exchange rate for said currency. I am prepared to accept as low as 115 cents on the dollar.

Not yet, but a report from TLCITW just minutes ago says 7" of fresh and still snowing. Plus the groomers are working. My "Guess" is Wednesday.... Weekend for sure.

Some white stuff on the ground at home. Not so much the further south you go.

I put up some outdoor lights Saturday afternoon, and yeah, i too put up one big set that only had 2/3 lit. Then like almost every set i grabbed didnt work. I got so mad i threw them all in the trash. Sunday, in a better mood, i went out to the trash and grabbed them. Fixed almost all of them in an hour or so. These were led's, so dont think they arent without their issues as well. Its not that the bulb burns out, but the little metal strand that makes contact inside the fixture breaks off, and of course, when "one goes out, they all go out".

You’re supposed to test them before you hang them.

But that has nothing to do with hunting starting on Saturday. They abandoned that tradition years ago.

Rain Rain Rain here in Blue Bell. Kind of lame. I did go buy a shovel though so clearly me being prepared for snow is the reason that the storm is a bust.

Nothing but 35 degree rain reading south. A new low formed overnight of the coast and pushed everything east and North. I woke up this morning and went outside and was like fuuuuuck no way is it snowing now I gotta go to work. This one just didn't feel right from the start but I do feel one brewing and I've already pooped today so it aint that.

I agree. The best part really is all of the get togethers with family and friends. Usually good food and good drinking.

Of course this is happening. They canceled work yesterday, (not for me) which we hardly ever do the day before. Of course its not gonnna snow.

I prefer the realistic map. Looking at the radar shows a lack of movement of the band to the South and East and just a dry patch over our area, unfortunately. On top of it all, the temps are too high for any snowmaking and someone fucked up Blue's webcams. An image of the ceiling isn't doing a hell of a lot of good, although the valley cam looking at the sky showed some flurries this morning.
