It was a beautiful blue sky drive through Danielsville but on the other side, all fog. Arrived at 7:40 and only saw Slim and crew at rope drop. First run was cream smooth. Upper Main was a firmer and a lot of fun. Had to throttle back because how thick the fog was. Every run and lift ride needed a goggle wipe to see. The sun was trying to poke through at the top and helped with vis but the fog held on. Snow on lazy was good too. Majority of the people on the mountain were BMR and half of the groups were going edge to edge. No lift lines. Left at 9 and now I get to chauffeur for Christmas shopping. Edit: Someone was cooking bacon in the lot when I left and in smelled AWESOME.7 points

Conditions were pretty good today, a little warm and the fog and mist started taking over around noon time. Did a bunch of laps on challenge. Still pretty quiet on the slopes. Snow conditions were pretty good first thing in the morning, and got a little soft and rutted up later in the morning. Doesn’t look like much different at Frost, just spruced up a little bit. Thunderbolt and East Mountain not open yet. Looks like the ice storm last weekend hit Challenge glade a little bit. We had the crown of a tree come down on our roof, no damage but it took a while getting it cleaned up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro1 point

Yes, you’re correct. There was two patrol about two chairs ahead of me. Didn’t see them going down but they were at the lift. I thought they just walked out from Patrol Central but it could have been my lack wipers on my goggles, couldn’t see much.1 point

I saw Mute at rope drop (on the web cam). Looked like a snowboarder beat him to the bottom though?1 point

I enjoy the light show at Camelback. It reminds me of Carnival Night Zone in Sonic 3, and I listen to Sonic music while skiing insanely fast. It's basically like I'm Sonic.1 point

Spent most of last winter working, except for a trip out to squaw. Retired this past September, so now I’ll be one of those mid week old geezers you see. Skis were turning pretty good today though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro1 point

The day started out normal Crested Butte cold at 0 degrees. Got to the mountain about 9:10, no rush since I knew it would not be busy. But I had no idea it would be SO empty! I was hardly even seeing people on the lifts. Top of Silver Queen Top of Paradise Bowl Found some interesting ungroomed stuff. Slow going but fun. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk1 point

Day 2… Enjoyed a quick breakfast of eggs, bacon and home fries before being picked up from my hotel. It quickly became apparent that the resort would be much busier today as the access road to the parking lots were backed up and we had to park further than ive ever parked there before. After seeing the crazy long line for the Bluebird Express we skated over to the Grand Summit Express to cut down on wait times. Both take you from the base to the summit, no worries. Once we got to the top @ryan had a binding issue so we took a lazy run down, got his binding squared away and back to the Grand Summit Express. They opened a couple runs overnight but they were left ungroomed, which included our favorite run of the weekend; Rollercoaster which had lefts overs from the storm plus the additional snow from the day before. We took this 3 times to start before heading west to check out some trees for a couple runs and hit the park for a run. Quick Lunch Break sitting outside since the lodge was a mad house. Lift lines were a decent wait, maybe 10 minutes at the worst. After lunch I wanted to check out a marked glade area, which turned out to be really fun. This area was definitely a glade area for beginners, however still very enjoyable. After 2 runs thru there we headed back over to the Carinthia area to close out the day with a few of our favorite runs/ tree areas. This mini trip was a f****** blast and we’re already looking at another quick trip mid-January. Lets hope the snow gods corporate again!1 point

I’ve never seen that movie. Turned it on once on Netflix, I think. I was like holy crap, this is the worst acting I’ve ever seen.0 points
