  1. Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot fueled by McDonald’s sausage biscuit hash brown and apple juice and they almost forgot to give it to me..temperatures were mid to upper 20s and in the house were Atomic Jeff, TP4, Johnny law, JFBBDan, Toast, Indiggio, Nastar Glenn, Fritz, Tele Matt and many more. First civilan six pack per usual and most went for Razors I did challenge to start which wasn’t that good but apparently better than Razors. Home stretch and falls were nice. Main Street was the run of the day it was grate..they also seeded the bumps on Main Street. I skied main all but one run which was a very nice empty run on paradise. No liftlines while I skied and really only last two runs on main street had other people. Had a few beers in the 40 degree sunshine even when I left well past 11 no liftlines.. ill be back tomorrow same time same place anybody else??

  3. Wow! Was so excited to see from the lower parking lot that Blue had seeded bumps on Main Street, but that excitement was short-lived after seeing them up close and personal. The operative word is “seed”, as moguls will grow on their own. They don’t need to be dug in! For some reason the bumps are at least twice as wide as they need to be meaning that all of Barney’s is WAY too wide, stretching halfway across Main Street. All of Barney’s 5 lanes could be cut in half. Like @Johnny Law said in the lot: A For effort, D for execution. The groomer that set them needs just a bit of insight on how to seed bumps. Excitement from the valley lot! Uh oh! Yikes!! Cliff jumping anyone? Yuge!!

  4. This morning was pretty stellar and the grooming on the the trails that aren't newly opened has been superb. Main Street was a gem.

  7. Nice night. Not to crowded, comfortable temps. Razors is a bit choppy with cookies but it's open so all good. Challenge is light years better... Slick in the middle but right hand side is nice. The sweet smell of the waffle haus is permeating the valley keeping the stoke high. Great night sesh thus far.

  11. Totally forget that I'm on point for this thread this week. Who's skiing on the last weekend of the decade at blue mountain?? Saturday looks decent. Sunday looks shitty.

  13. Nice Razors and Challenge open! Neither were when I was there Friday. I’m a little out of sorts, got the short end of the stick at work. So worked A LOT the past week. Including weekend, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Hubby said I need to go skiing tomorrow. Think he may be trying to get rid of me. 😂.

  16. Not a cloud in the sky for the 9am start. Big time inversion (37F at the top, 28F at the base) to start with a freshly opened Challenge ready to go right from rope drop. In the house were @AtomicSkier @toast21602 @JFskiDan @Benm @Johnny Law @Mixilplix, @JBS, Johnny Law’s “twin” brother, and another one of JLaw’s brothers. Rodney, the other crew in our row, and a couple other regulars. There wasn’t a cookie to be found on Challenge even at 10:30am, but it was rock hard from the get go with only minor holes. The ROTD of the day, and after that first Challenge, the only run I skied the rest of the day, was Main Street. It was sunny, totally empty, and boner doner tits mcgee. Conditions were slightly looser today on Main Street compared to Sunday, but even fewer people. Hard to beat today’s conditions, mild temps, and lack of crowds. The only issue today was a wardrobe malfunction by @toast21602 forcing him to wear a slightly different outfit.
