What the fuck? Can you not fucking read? I had one of these, made by Enjorales, in the parking lot last weekend. And pancakes, and some other wonderful stuff to boot. Last year there was Creme Brulee in the parking lot. You simply just dont get it. Not all of us will let our wallets dictate the experience of skiing as you do.6 points

Alta today. On the way there, I was thinking Holy crap, I’m way out of my league here. Snowed most of day, bumps, bowls, my legs were screaming by 2 pm. Took a spectacular fall, but nice and fluffy, so didn’t hurt🙂

Snowing a lot here in town, seems like 4-6” a day. Since I got my dreaded air cast boot back on last week my dog is not pleased since I can’t walk him in the snow. Tried a variety of plastic bags and trash bags over the boot which all rip after a few minutes. Plus I slide all over the place. Thankfully doctor said I am still allowed to ski.2 points

It's that time of year I start checking the weather for Mt. Washington multiple times a day and the avalanche report everyday. Curious if anyone else on here skis, has skied or wants to ski the Presidentials?1 point

Absolutely not! As the tuxs trail is always beaten down by cat transporting volunteer rescue and mwac staff. Also only part truly skinable is from the parking lot to Hojo's (Not even 40% to the summit) anything more is just what conditions allow. It's also no race and sweating means changing layers. Also anything from the end of April til July be starting the hike in out tail shoes! I have an extra pack to.1 point

It’s $200 difference big Whoop...$429 for the blue pass is an absolute bargain..aside from the one year it was $399 it’s less expensive than it was 15 years ago.1 point

Off and on snow showers in the am...Then some kinda bullshit precip that would just freeze on your goggles... Still some chopped up stuff on the sides that was still sorta OK...but God damn was the grooming unreal...Found some bumps that still had loose natural sill on them....

Great to ski with Ridge today. He hit a good day...the sun was bright and no fog for a change. Snow was World Cup Firm and Fast, and Ridge took full advantage. He definitely loves speed.. Come back and bring some more of your friends..1 point

Wow MC did not boost their prices like most areas do and is again offering $229 season passes for rest of this season and all of next. Don't care for MC or live close enough to want to get one, but an insane deal. Less than 50% of what Blue is asking for a pass to an area that is fairly comparable in terms of vertical and acreage (and, unfortunately, crowds).0 points
