Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at like 715am and it was in the high single digits under mostly sunny sky’s. In the house were Johnny Law, JFDan, Atomic Jeff, NMSki, PARidge, Salty, Toast, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Falco, Enjorales cousin, Eddie, Tys brother, Indiggio, Slim, Rick and many more. Six pack was initially down which meant an energetic skate to the quad..second civilian chair and challenge to start was good not grate I give it a 6.75 on the Steezy scale..between ok and a carpet. I revisited challenge a second run when most did sidewinder as the root rollers and low light are not my cup of Sanka. Next was Main Street and upper Main was the ROTD.like that sweet Caroline song..so good so good and still a fucking slut... One run on paradise some new blown snow..one on lazy mile was alright..razors was being groomed after some serious snowmaking and switchback opened late after an assault from operation blizzard 3.0 I didn’t ski switch but I know it was rowdy..nightmare dreamweaver was closed for the race team and the smartstylers with gates on nightmare and a skier X course on dreamweaver. The six pack eventually opened the. The quad shut down serious mass exodus going from the quad line to six pack..I revisited challenge and Main Street..then hungout in the lot as the temperature rose into the 20s. Was a nice morning and while it was busy it wasn’t busy busy..me thinks tomorrow will be uber crowded but the snow should be legit..and weather even better. JADIP8 points

Bluebird day, machine made pow pow, soft bumps, and loads of ppl on the hill and in the lodge. Snow was in really good shape all over the mtn, but by late afternoon all the skier traffic was taking its toll, and the base was poking through. Runs of the day were white lightning, boomer, and smoke. Here's the crew after a good run down WL. @tinymoose looking skeptical at WL. Took us an hour to get a seat in the restaurant. Apres included fries topped with cheese, pulled pork, and BBQ sauce, pickle fries, wings, and beers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

Tried a new route today, the wind sucked ass! This spot is where we popped out of the trees. We’re aiming for the hump but with the wind and snow conditions which were shit due to the wind, we turned around. Access road sketchy, glad I borrowed husband’s Jeep. Saw a few people having a very bad day, stuck HARD. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk6 points

Between the incoherent sentence and upside down pics, I think they may still be drunk from yesterday4 points

Oh god the waterpark. Took some students there yesterday and still haven't recovered; so loud...so crowded. But really my biggest complaint was that I had to be sober because I was working. 😪 The flow rider looked really fun! Why are water park hot tubs never hot? The view of Jay and the Greens coming in from the east was worth the whole trip. Spectacular. Happy shredding!4 points

Wow was it cold! Guess because we’ve not really had any winter as of yet and I wasn’t used to real cold. For the most part I thought the snow was good all over, with some locations being grate (Barney’s & MS ridge) and others being bad to horrible (Paradise & Switchback). They blew a ton on Barney’s that filled in most of the troughs, but there were some that didn’t get the memo and you had to be careful of them. For the majority of the day the bumps were good. Even @saltyant was trying them out and asking for tips, which I tried to oblige. I have Switchback a whirl after it opened but with the horrible grooming, I bailed out to MS halfway down. Took a run down NM/DW. The bumps were frozen and icy, but the rest of the run was pretty good since it hadn’t been skied a whole lot. i was kinda surprised at the lack of crowd. There were a lot of cars, but the runs and the lines weren’t bad. However the training hill was packed as was the tubing hills. Tomorrow should be interesting.3 points

Decent day. Snow was ok. Lift situation sucks. I'm not sure why it's been so difficult to keep two functional High Speed lifts running at the same time this season. First run down challenge and second run on sidewinder were beautiful. Upper switch, when it opened, was a rock quarry then magically transforned into a carpet on the lower half of the trail ...only at Blue. NMDW was closed as was Razors which was being groomed out. Upper Main was nice. Lower was not so much. Overall a decent day. The bright sun came in clutch as it was crazy cold early on.3 points

Last day, back to Deer Valley. Not sure why you guys hate on this place, it’s actually really nice, and has amazing variety for all ski levels. Went all the way up to Empire Mountain and worked my way across the top. Met up with some other folks from the trip on Flagstaff Mountain, did some runs, then went over to Bald Mtn. for some runs. Did runs at the bottom when we got tired. This was a great trip, Utah is a beautiful place. The weather has been beautiful. Sunny except for Alta day, when it snowed all day. Will definitely return3 points

With tree skiing you just have to doodle around..if I ever ski with you at Stowe I’ll show you some good glades. I only skied Bolton three times in college so not that familiar. Keep posting on here SallyCat..we need stoke from everywhere to maybe get that dream March Blizzard or at least snowfall!!! Blue misses you.1 point

Didn't ski at Jay alas. I ran a 5-day ski safari for a group of five kids and we went to Gunstock, Cannon, and Bolton x2. By the end of the day Thursday they were pretty spent and the temps were brutal Friday, so we decided to end the week with the waterpark. The skiing at Bolton was phenomenal. We had fresh snow both days and there was tons of tree skiing available; I really love that place. I'm not a confident woods skier but I loved the ungroomed trails that bumped up a bit. Sounds like @mbike-ski is doing a killer beer safari, too! Jealous!1 point

they posted a pic on FB of the 6er before it was fixed and he posted something along the lines of "This thing has been limping around for 6 weeks and you guys draw attention to it?"1 point

I'd consider Camelback to save $70 but then I wouldn't be able to eat 10 cent fruit candies with Steeze from the floor of BenM's truck anymore.1 point

Always a pleasure Rummy. Good to ski and have a beer with you guys. Definitely needs to happen more often. And there's a ticket with your name on it if you ever want to ski Blue.1 point

Perhaps they stole a part from the quad and taped it into the 6 to get it up to full speed....1 point

If your on a board. I would highly recommend micro spikes... Watched a boarded slip and take out half the people in the boot ladder one time. I always take my crampons.0 points
