Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. In the house were Slim, Indiggio, Johnny Law, TP4, Keith, BenM, Atomic Jeff, Toast, JFDan, PSUFlyGuy, Matt Edge, MBike Mike, Ryan, Mute, TheRealKT and many others. For the second or third time I made the lift stop..it was mad Homer Simpson..doh..I didn’t know if I could make first chair..hesitated tried anyway..got crushed by lift..still made first chair..there will be a bruise but all good..temperatures were in the low 20s to start. First run on challenge top good middle not great..then sidewinder very nice everybody thinks the rollers are pretty perfect..nightmare dreamweaver nice snow early got a little slick later but not bad. Switchback was good and I got air off the lip onto a rough lower mainstreet. Upper Main Street was good...lower not so much..i skied lazy once for the culture..was aight..the sun was shining crowds were moderate..snow was winterlike was nice skiing maybe not a top 5 but a top 8... Hungout in the lot no jacket no fleece no hat no gloves..had bagel some chips and beer..was some perfect weather and above average skiing..JADIP6 points

For not having a winter, Blue did a bang-up job to make Saturday conditions some of the best of the season. Saw @Mixilplix once in the corral. The snow they blew pretty much all over the mountain was dry and on-point. Barney's was fantastic and with the warmth and sun, skied well into the afternoon. Legs were shot! When the Quad went down around 2, causing a mad crush on the 6-pack and then it stopped and had difficulty starting, called it a day, as we weren't going to wait in that crowd a second time. VIP reader also crapped out, so everyone was jumping it. The entire corral was filled and lines to the readers were back to the macadam. Saw they got the quad running again, probably around 3 or so. Caught up with @mbike-ski in the lot. Should be a spectacular day tomorrow (today).6 points

I'm pretty spoiled now, not gonna lie. Sitting in an extemely comfy recliner by a gas fireplace with a taxidermied mounted bison looking down, watching the night skiers, sledders and mountain coaster riders outside our oversized crystal clear glass windows with the snow covered Rockies in the background. Screw Vermont, this is the life, since I have a job @AtomicSkier5 points

Today was 10/10. Comfortable temps, no clouds, and awesome snow. NMDW was the ROTD for me. The only thing today was missing was a sausage fest. GSS made the lift stop to start the day. Major party foul. You either commit to getting on first chair, or you wait for the second chair so you can ride with @indiggio. Even @Benm asked what all the commotion was all about first thing. It was everying booing GSS 😂5 points

ill Keep this short and sweet. Pulled into the lot at 8:15 and it was 34 degrees. Got my comp ticket, booted up, and up B chair for the first run of the day. Headed over to Sasquatch and took a straight line run down to get the juices flowing. Stayed mostly in the park all day as the new build is pretty fun. They took out the 3 jump line in blackbear due to a comp and just had double option about halfway down the trail. “Big” side of the jump was nice in the morning but got a little awkward as the snow slowed down and the Lip got killed from people rolling over it. Lower blackbear rails are nice and if strung together right, can provide for a nice flow through the lower half of the park. Only took 2 runs through cascade however that setup was fun as well with mostly beginner to intermediate features. Stopped at trails end around 11 for a rest break and a few beers. Grabbed a land shark and an IPA from Big Oyster then headed back out for the last half of the day. Last half of the day was nothing special, just rolled through the park all afternoon messing around. Left at 3pm to a full parking lot. Drove home with the windows down and it felt like the end of March. should be back up March 8th.... if they’re still open.3 points

I decided to dust off my touring skis and head up to Camelback this morning. I packed the car with skis and my dog, Birmy, and we were off to go find some snow. When I got to Camelback, I was unsure of the uphill policy. I called during the week and I was told I needed to buy a lift ticket (turns out, I don’t think you do). After walking around with Birms and letting him roll in the snow, ski patrol told me that I could skin up Laurel Glade to Birches and didn’t mention anything about the lift ticket. I was told that the uphill route changes depending on the time of the day based on crowds and to check-in with ski patrol before you go up. I put Birms in the car and I went up for my first lap. It was about 1 mile and 675 vertical feet. It was a sweaty mile, so I went to check on the dog and decided to leave my jacket in the car for the next lap. It was my first time touring in over a year, so still need to get faster and fitter for spring mountains but it took about 30 minutes while telling the beginners they need to put down the lever before stepping down and helping a few little shredders up. Wish I had a GoPro though – not for the gnarly views or conditions but when I got to the top, I was breathing heavy and had my airpods in. I was near the top of Birches and saw a man frantically waving at me. I pulled out an airpod and asked him if he was okay. He goes, “Are you okay? Do you know you’re going the wrong way?!” Overall, solid workout and would definitely do it again.3 points

Short and boring layover at ORD. Didn't even get an Italian beef or a Chicago dog. Getting ready to push back now and should be in Steamboat in about 3 hours. Hope @saltyant doesn't get too bored waiting for us.3 points

Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain. Temperatures went from about 20 to 40 degrees under mostly sunny sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JLaw, NMSki, PARidge, slim, Schifdawg, Indiggio, Salty, JFDan, West Chester homeys, Ryan, Mute, MBike Mike, Toast and many more. Second civilian six pack..I skied goofy conditions on challenge first run mad Katie Perry hot and cold, sidewinder was nice the root rollers were tame, Main Street and lazy had fresh manmade and the bumpers were having a blast..i skied a couple bumps..nightmare to dreamweaver was decent and Switchback was worth a couple visits..dark and smooth. Parking lot was fun had a few beers and snacks galore now gotta shower and wear a polo shirt and go into work and sell a tombstone..remember kids no discount for after hours appointments..JADIP2 points

I thought yesterday’s conditions were better than today but arguing about that is like arguing who had the best beer today. All good. All enjoyable. Three sunny days with superb conditions in a row are unheard of for Blue. I guess if it isn’t going to snow this is the best alternative.2 points

I did exactly the same. Didn't realize that I wasn't supposed to be on it until halfway down. Sidewinder was closed, NMDW was closed, Razors was closed and last but not least...coming soon was closed. At least challenge was good. Really good actually along the right side, near the fabled Guns and Hoses trail.1 point
