Decided to check out the Gulf of Slides today. This was my first time to this zone so this was more an exploration. GoS trail was much steeper in many spots then then the tuxs trail. It was a very sweaty skin from start to finish with no wind even above the treeline. Skied the main gully in slightly less then favorable conditions. Did not warrant multiple laps. Over all great day out in the mountains... always so humbling.

We're all in the condo drinking coffee. My legs are shot and my performance was deteriorating. Did some wicked ungroomed black runs off Pony Express.

Thanks twin brother. I've finally realized that's the only way to advance and I'm bored out of my mind with groomers. Had a blast challenging myself today. Just trying to stay safe. I got overconfident and thought I could ski anything, so got stuck in really steep glades and crashed near a tree. Made it out alive, I'll probably try to stick to glades I'm comfortable with.

Well the workers promised to get me my place in line back once the ticket office straightens out this SNAFU. Word on is there's a whole foot of glorious Perder waiting up there to be tracked out by my RTMs.

Hey All, I’m back from a fun night session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 6:30pm and BenM was just leaving..Atomic Jeff and PARidge were also in the House. Temperatures were in the 40s and not much wind. Just the quad open and only a handful of people and I believe one bus. First run on razors yeah razors was open to the public.whoop dee freaking doo..was pretty nice a little sandy on the upper headwall and a few root rollers lower down. Nightmare to dreamweaver run of the night and skied that about 60% of the time. Main Street decent..Sidewinder was pretty nice a little choppy on the last pitch..the falls was great snow..soft and fast...I knew conditions would be nice tonight because it was warm which made everything wet and surely slow in the afternoon than the darkness made things fast but the warm temperatures kept things soft and lack of traffic kept things smooth. Skied 10 runs in a hour and a half and then hungout in the lot for another hour or so.. Nice end to a nice stretch skiing 5 of the last six days. Tomorrow looks like maybe showers and fog but if it’s a bit nicer I might be out..JADIP..

Tree wells aren’t magnets. They’re not just going to reach out and grab you. Don’t ski near them and you reduce your risk. Even skiing with a partner isn’t full proof as someone always has to go last. Skiing is all about managing risk. There are ways to mitigate it, but never eliminate it. Just be smart @saltyant and have fun. Don’t stomp on your own stoke by watching some YouTube videos. That’s like going on WebMD when you have a sore throat.

Creamer from Hunter Mountain grass fed cows. These cows were born and raised on a dairy farm nestled in the shadows of Hunter peak. Needless to say it's the greatest creamer on earth.

Tonight was stellar. Le night tits...10 out of 10 fun. Great / fast snow; awesome weather, mountain to ourselves...a life is good kinda night for sure. Skied with two pretty cool gents to boot.

It was fucking awesome. You really should ski at night occasionally as nights like tonight are better than most morning conditions and the visibility is far superior. NMDW was 10/10 hammer down with the top inch soft with the subsurface firm to carve on. @Johnny Law would say it was boner doner tits magee.
