Ditto. Trying to do it at least once a week and support local beer distributors and breweries as much as possible.4 points

I dunno. Working from home is great until you’re forced to do it every day. I value social interaction.4 points

Well who’s right...the nurse almost doctor or the guy who skis on ladies skis and wears a face mask when it’s 45 degrees out.3 points

Because he might as well be a fucking boomer writing checks, sending faxes, and using paper.2 points

His attempt at speaking for you failed miserably. Anywho you should absolutely purchase an iPad for when your in the hotel house and need a bigger screen for web browsing, watching videos etc. You won't regret it.2 points

You should get out for a ride, but I'm not meeting up with anybody right now. No offense.2 points

Do you shut everything down and destroy the economy? Or leave things running and accept a 4 million person death tally, but it’s all over in three months. Plus the first option doesn’t guarantee any lessening of the deaths. Our family cemetery plot in South River New Jersey, is in a fairly crowded cemetery. But next to our family plot is an open field about 100’ x 200’. When I asked my grandparents what it was, and they said it was a mass grave from the 1918 flu virus. Is that depressing enough?2 points

But what do you do when they close your hotel house due to lack of people traveling? Where do you go? Cardboard box under a bridge?2 points

I agree. Although cutting out 2+ hours of driving, PA turnpike tolls, and $ 10 or more in gas per day is nice.2 points

Eaf don't get me started on survivor. This season is going down the tubes fast...and I had such high hopes.1 point
-
Some of my most favorite seasons of Survivor are those with James, the big macho grave digger. I'll say for those who didn't watch it that he struggled a lot initially. Might explain why I'm so concerned of how you eat, live and don't run out of cash.1 point

Tried them and their sandwiches are awesome. Thinking Frank's down on 209 though. They sent an email the other day that almost had my wife in tears...They need help. Plus they passed along reassurances that they're sanitizing like crazy.1 point

Pocono Pizza, if you havent been there yet, has a baller meatball sub. really nice bread, which is what i always thinks makes or breaks a sandwich. Times are going to be difficult for a lot of people. Personally if i had a restaurant, i would turn my wait staff, into delivery staff.1 point

It stinks...a lot of hospitality workers live paycheck to paycheck...it’s nice that restaurants are still allowed to be open for takeout. Maybe I’ll get Carrabas later this weekend.1 point

I prefer Greg Brady, peter Brady and Marsha Brady. Why argue over this??? Cause why not...something to do...1 point
-
Why argue over this? Thinking we should probably all be cool to each other right now. The time for debate can come later. I feel bad for my Tom Brady tirade the other day (I'm still mad at him though). In the grand scheme of things right now that is so extremely irrelevant.1 point

Once things return to normal I'll start a D&L trail ride discussion in the bike thread. It would be great if you'd join us!1 point

Hopefully before that, but yes, lets plan one for as soon as we are safely able to.1 point

Ok. I plan to ride this weekend. None taken, maybe we can plan a ride for 2021.1 point

My grandparents were friends with Fritz Kramer who owned Apple Hill..when my mom was a kid Apple hill was the little place to ski and Doe mountain was the big place. My dad learned to ski at Vernon Valley/Great Gorge which had a playboy club in the 70s I believe.1 point
-
My dad did once. One of the three times he skied. The other two were at a PlayBoy ski hill in Lake Geneva Wisconsin when he was in the Navy.1 point

Apple Hill operated from 1962 until 1978. Does anyone here remember skiing there?1 point

There are many different strains as the mutation rate is pretty high. So in theory some strains nY be more virulent then others. But I think more critical to outcome is the amount of particles you are exposed to, dose if you will. That family you are talking about ate dinner together and you can envision large viral loads passed between them. Or not1 point

RCN Service was horrible today, kept going down all day. Probably overloaded due to practically everyone working/playing/surfing at the same time.1 point
