First real ride of 2020. ~100 miles. Lapped my favorite road (Rt 715 north of Brodheadsville) a couple of times. Nice to give the right wrist a little workout.

My doctor did a telephone appt with me and said I should wear a blindfold as much as possible for a few days since I was still so dizzy. I sat my ass on the couch and listened to lots of podcasts and after two days the dizziness is almost gone. Just one small headache spot and a little foginess left. Ordered this helmet (on 1/2 off sale!). Has a relatively new technology instead of styrofoam and extra support in the back. Even if I was not banged up right now I would not be in the backcountry. People are acting like fools, crowding trailheads, parking stupid and going out with no gear or education. If I get my boot off on Wednesday (fingers crossed) I am looking forward to walking a ton by the end of the week, then hopefully hiking by the following week. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Took my daughter fishing for a bit today. She had fun but didn't catch anything. It was kinda chilly so we didn't stay too long

Found this pretty cool game called Grand Mountain Adventure for my phone. Not sure of any other way to get my ski fix at this point. Pretty cool game where you go and explore various different mountains in Europe and whatnot.

It was a little chilly out for riding! Final tune for this year and storage wax for all the skis was the order of business today.

Snowpack on the main trails is good. Cold weather is helping.

Chance for 3-6" Monday night. Parts of S. VT could get up to 12".

I’m holding out the tiniest bit of hope that come Late May one or two western resorts open. I might ski tomorrow if the poconos gets 2-4”+ stay tuned!!!

Was just listening to a power metal song that I was jamming to while skiing through knee deep powder glades in Steamboat. Damn dudes, I would do anything to go back in time a month and experience that again instead of dealing with this current bullshit. 🥶

I was just illustrating how cheap the airfare was right now. Backcountry in this time is irresponsible if you get hurt you’re using resources that they are using to fight the corona virus and a hospital is not where you wanna be. Doc said 2 weeks before all symptoms are gone so you're right where they said you would be, maybe slightly ahead. Nice score on that helmet! Truly the best investment any skier can make.
