I was at the Wissahickon ski club in Conshy back in December 2017. Didn't ski, but had beers with friends (and friends of friends). It was cool little spot! It sounded like on snow days, everyone brings a crockpot and they fire up the lift. On nonsnow days, it's like a private club for drinking and hanging out with the other members and snow-lovers. Last I heard, you have to be recommended by a member. And, they were suppose to re-do their new member bylaws earlier this year. The committee (well use to) meet on Tuesdays. Here are some cool little pics that I snapped in 2017. I was enamored with the place. inside decor. Yeah, I’ve enjoyed the empty roads twice now on my road bike. Got to witness a Mustang vs WRX race the other day. I flipped the mustang off.

Nope. Gonna be a season for road biking. PA parks will shut down as soon as everyone from Jersey starts flocking there.

The wissahickon club got hit by a tornado a couple years ago and some trees fell onto the lift. I don’t think they did any repairs. As for holly mountain, its just a few miles from Salem. I checked the place out a few years ago, but you can barely tell anything was there. Even flew a drone over the place and the trails are barely visible. The top terminal for the lift is still there. Nah. 99% of drivers are fine. I gave a driver the bird for sitting at a green light the other day. He honked at me so I flipped him off again. I was doing 25 coming down a hill and didn't feel like stopping because he was playing on his stupid cell phone. LOL

On the years we do mulch (every 2-3, depending), we get like 22 yards.

Almost 2,000 deaths today in the US. A new daily record. Low numbers from the past few days most likely due to lack of reporting over the weekend. Still on the upward trend. Stay home.

That's nice of them. Hopefully Nationwide follows through with the same thing. I need to call them anyway to drop part of the coverage on my Jeep, so I'll say something then.

We used to do mulch but it seemed like such a waste of time and money so we started slowly replacing all mulch with landscaping stone. Just finished last year and it’s nice not having to shovel and spread anything this year.

Got notice today Allstate is giving back $ for not driving. Crazy!

My new “supervisor” at work likes to be sneaky when she observes

Wow. That's a big lawn to cut with a reel mower. I looked into a modern reel mower a few years ago for cutting my 1/3 acre trying to be environmentally conscious. But they cut the grass to short. I cut mine high to help discourage weeds. People think cutting it short will let them get by with fewer cuts but it doesn't work that way and is bad for the lawn.

I’ve dealt with a few claims this past week where the person has dropped coverages to just liability since they can’t drive the car, then something happens in their driveway, or a branch falls on it, etc and they try to turn in a claim and we end up denying it.
