I'm not sure of a bucket list because all that I had on there was to ski the Alps and now that is checked off. I'd love to ski more in Europe. Italy. France. I still haven't skied anywhere in CO or CA so somewhere there. Alaska would be cool. Japan would be awesome on a good snow year. A heli day or trip. I dunno, I'm grateful for where I've been able to ski so if I didn't get to any other place other than where I've been I wouldn't be dissappointed. I just copied my stats from the site, but these are the areas I've been to. Of these: Favorite in the East: Killington Favorite in the West: Brighton, Jackson, Pow (all for different reasons) Favorite Pacific: Whistler Favorite Europe: 4 Vallées Blue Mountain, PA Whistler/Blackcomb, BC Big Boulder, PA Jackson Hole, WY Powder Mt, UT Snowbasin, UT Camelback, PA Killington, VT Jack Frost, PA Canyons, UT Snowbird, UT Mt. Mik, PA Steven's Pass, WA Mt. Baker, WA Sno Mountain, PA Park City, UT Deer Valley, UT Bear Creek, PA Brighton, UT Elk Mountain, PA Montage Mountain Alta, UT Verbier, CH Solitude, UT Bruson, CH Shawnee, PA La Tzoumaz, CH Belleayre, NY Seven Springs, PA 4 Vallées, CH5 points

We buy whole bean and grind it fresh, nothing beats the flavor. I typically add cinnamon to the grounds and depending upon the day, I’ll add cayenne pepper, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, smoked chipotle, etc. too. The spices add a hint of flavor not normally encountered in your typical store coffee.4 points

PA CO JFBb Winter Park Blue Abasin Camelback Telluride Split Rock Copper VERMONT Crested Butte Stratton Eldora Bromley Loveland NY/NJ Vail Hunter Beaver Creek Vernon Valley/Great Gorge To be honest I don’t have any bucket list places I want to do. Goals are more to get better in the backcountry and expand the terrain I can handle there @RidgeRacer next season you will have ticked Telluride off your list and glad to see CB is on you favorite list!3 points

Wow that's a lot. In the last 15 years, Blue this season and Jack frost once (twice if you include the time I took my wife, had to hike halfway up the slope and took one run on my own then left). Pretty unimpressive.3 points

Keurig coffee is to coffee like store bought bagels are to @tarponhead homemade bagels!2 points

That line is nuts. Shit I get angry if I get up before the coffee starts to auto brew. Always nice to wake up to fresh pot rather than wait.2 points

Not a very interesting experience. My dad lived in VA for a few years when I was in middle school/high school and we went there once when I was visiting over Christmas break. Was half-open and pretty small. If I remember correctly you park at the top like Jack Frost. That was the most interesting thing to me at the time, having only skied where you take a lift to begin up to that point.2 points

What type of person doesnt immediately become self aware of how stupid it is to wait in a line like that?2 points

Totally agree. I love coffee, and the swill i brew at home is just fine with me. I dont get starbucks at all, but im not into lattes or creamy coffee drinks with marshmallow fuzz. i make baller tacos at home too. Probably tomorrow night.2 points

I haven't been all that many places outside of PA... PA: Blue Montage/Sno Elk Blue Knob Blue Marsh Bear Creek Spring Mountain Jack Frost Big Boulder Tussey Mountain Shawnee Camelback CO: Steamboat Howelsen Hill Winter Park Copper Loveland A-Basin I think that's all of them...as far as bucket list ones, pretty much anywhere I haven't been.2 points

Plenty of time to visit new places... Plus you're just getting back into skiing if I recall. My list pales in comparison to others on here.2 points

Forgot about the bagel posts a whil ago, meant to chime in. Best bagel store hands down is the bagel exp in brodheadsville. The key is the water. I was told they truck in NYC public water for production. That's not to discredit tarponheads, I'm sure those are amazing. Baking pics are on point.1 point

I know that the sunoco around here has it, along with an exxon. not sure if they have an agreement with the manufacturer or not but i'd start there. those are the 16oz cans. My wife showed me some energy shot style, like a bigger 5hr energy bottle. I'm waiting for someone to start using it for mixed drinks. itd be like 4loko 2.01 point

we were gifted a keurig and i miss auto brew and a legitimate amount of coffee so much. black + a shot. only way to go. mexicoffee is decent for a little change of pace but just a cup or two will do. what about the beer release part? edit: @GrilledSteezeSandwich - have you ever tried Bang? I used to drink SFRB too, but this is way better and SF. please don't make some joke about the name.1 point

Because I’m not a regular coffee drinker I get pretty caffeined up off coffee and espresso. Usually I’ll drink a sugar free red bull before I go to karaoke for extra wings. The one Mexican cold brew they sell at Whole Foods is pretty good..it’s slightly sweet and sort of a cinnamon flavor.1 point

if you like black coffee, never go to dunkin. they only get away with shit coffee because they add a ton of milk and sugar to it. wawa is mediocre. as much as i hate the starbucks aura, it's the only decent place near here (20 min) with good black coffee. lmao at waiting for beer releases.1 point

Look at data that does not need testing or a known numerator. # hospitalizations and deaths are examples. PA should have graphs depicting these surrogate endpoints. Will not give hard numbers you (and every one else wants). Another good trend to follow is the rate of positivity (% of tests positive of Dailey test total) A decrease in trends tells us in what direction we are heading. Again, without the proper testing these surrogate endpoints are all we got. This is what being unprepared for a pandemic looks like. No adequate testing that is (Apologies in advance for boomer pic)1 point
