Ill be that guy, figure out how to ski, take a lesson, and be able to ski anything at least a Blue, including the bumps before buying touring gear. This goes for everyone, not trying to call you out.5 points

I had a friend that lived at the bottom of college hill near the car wash (shammy shine or whatever). His place flooded all the time, but I think that was from the creek, not the Delaware river1 point

We will end up with more inches of rain in the last 3 days than we had inches of snow for last winter.1 point

Dan knows more about the technical stuff than I do but usually if softer the less stable you feel. How heavy are your skis now? Edit...it feels nice talking about skiing!1 point

Ha! Wife and I wedding anniversary is this week. I hooked her up with a sweet gift (that she knows about) and dropped a few hints of my own. Let's see how that plays out...lol1 point

If you're looking for a light weight, all mountain daily driver I think so. There's nothing to technical as I know you're still in transition mode from snowboarding so I'd probably look at the 88 or 94... very slight rocker, medium turn radius 17 something. Personally I'm not a big multi ski quiver guy (I'm totally in the minority there I know) but I want one ski that I dig no matter the conditions and sick day does that...at least for me. I hate carrying around multiple pairs of skis.1 point

I laughed I honestly think I’m gonna have a better than average ski season but that’s just me being positive and wanting to really get after it since I’m getting old1 point

I bought my touring setup in the spring when shops were blowing out gear after the abrupt end to ski season. I'm finally getting around to getting my touring boots fit in 3 weeks or so. Still gotta get my Salomon Shifts mounted to my skis.1 point

Jones levels are rising earlier since we ended last season a bit short.1 point

Thanks to watching entirely too many ski movies over the summer I'm really interested in some touring gear for this coming season.1 point

On Saturday, Birms was put down peacefully. The vet found cancerous tumors and cysts on intestines. 😕 He led a pretty rad life. I snapped this photo on our last walk. I'm glad he got to experience skiing down Burma Road and hanging out in the parking lot. You may have noticed him lurking by the meats at the Mt Bleu end of the season party.0 points
