I have a prodeal with Flylow so I'll likely buy something when they launch their new gear. https://flylowgear.com/collections/womens-web-specials In the meantime, I've been spending money on fixing up my basement. Before I "fixed it" up, it smelled like the kind of basement that has a college style beer pong table. So far, I knocked down a wall, painted with Drylok, and I'm living that dehumidifier type of basement life. I snagged a squat rack from Rogue, a concept2 rower, built a jump box, and scored some weights from Dick's Sporting Goods and Target. Just trying to avoid the gym for next year or so, but still need to prep for skison 20/214 points

Besides restricting freedoms for months, such as forcing people in their homes, @GrilledSteezeSandwich what else could have been done in the absence of a vaccine? Even you said on one of our last days at Blue that this isn't China, people can't be forced to quarantine. Would you be ok with completely foregoing the upcoming ski season entirely?2 points

It’s crazy to me you went from the biggest trump supporter I’ve met to a radical leftist in a 2 month period over an illness where there is about a 50% chance will disappear if Dems win this November. I’m not mad at you, just disappointed2 points

I have to admit, the way you have turned against our great President the past 2 months is pretty sad.2 points

60% of Allentown school district parents were against sending their kids back to school. Much different between the Richie rich parents and the poor and working class. All sports fields in allentown are shut down until January 1st in complying with governor Wolfe recommendations.1 point

That is disturbing and reminds me of the Japanese internment camps this country once used. im starting to think the upper class is just using Covid as an excuse to work less while making the lower class do their bidding. People won’t leave their house out of Covid fears but have no problem letting the working class delivery driver who delivers their groceries take that risk1 point

There wasn't any of that for months in Pennsylvania, which slowed it, but are they supposed to remain closed forever? Should in door dining, church services, and schools be permanently abolished? Should thousands of businesses continue to lose their livelihoods? Fauci even said the virus may not ever be gone, and there may never be a vaccine.1 point

So many questions to answer, and so many unknowns. the one thing i am fairly confident of, is that Blue will be an utter shit show. I think they will tell people to wear masks, and thats about it. Will they limit ticket sales? They should, we all know the place is already overcrowded. Will there be restrictions on times, even for passholders? I think most of us here bought an "unlimited pass." But, its clearly a different year. I know the early hours benefit the majority, but passholders only from 8-10? Not saying passholders are limited to those hours only, but there should be some consideration for the majority of the passholders that continue to buy passes year after year. (and yes, i know that 8-10 is mostly passholders, but still it would cut back) What goes on in the lodge, isnt relevant to most of us, so i dont care what goes on there. And for the record, i doubt there will be improvements to the tent like structures they call the valley lodge, or paving of the valley lot. Give it up. Only one suggestion there - a walk up window for ski tunes. As poorly as this will go over, i think they may need to adjust their opening strategy to get more trails and lifts in play. Will more people run to JFBB for less crowded slopes over the better lifts, and terrain? Who knows. If Blue isnt to my liking this year with all this, i will likely go find somewhere that i feel more comfortable with. Right now, i have no intentions of getting on a plane, and i dont think that will change, so might be some Vermont stuff, but whats going on there? i keep reading something about 14 day quarantine, maybe thats only if you are coming from FLA? confusing. We could always pool our money and rent Platty.1 point

You’re such a bitch. I hope one of those guys kicks your ass but you’d probably run to Mommy and daddy to sue them. If you lived in the Soviet Union you’d be proud to snitch on your neighbors. You are a tyrant and unAmerican.0 points
