Umm no. It's a very intricate process. I first put on a sock. I then slide my foot into the boot. I buckle the boot in a similar fashion to as if I were at the mountain. I first walk in the boot, then do the MC hammer (demonstration below). After this rigorous testing regiment, if my feet feel good. I keep them.4 points

It was a girl I met on Hinge. She doesn’t ski but no biggie. I’d actually rather date someone who doesn’t have a lot on common with me, as I’m a jackass.4 points

Boots arrived today! Just hope they fit. A proper fitting from an amateur boot fitter (me) will occur this evening when I'm done work.2 points

Actually i think they might descend upon the tubing hills a little more. it takes no talent to get down the tubing hill. in fact, it probably requires more talent to get up the tubing hill.2 points

I dined indoors for the first time this weekend at PJs. Usually I would choose outdoor dining to be safe, but it was a date so I didn’t want to risk sweating. The indoor dining was actually more socially distant than the outdoor dining2 points

we camped at Locust Lake a few weeks ago, saw one group of campers masked the whole long weekend. I had one with me but never wore it either and never really felt threatened. never really came within 6' of anyone either other than some kids petting the dog for a minute or two. No inside dining for us yet, three outside meals plus a few outside trips to Lost Tavern2 points

Once the weather turns and movie theaters and the like still aren't open and there isn't any football to watch on Saturday (except for a game or two that the NFL will slip in there) and the kids don't have basketball to go to, the minivan will get loaded up on Saturday and a group of people who would have never skied in their lives will descend upon the ski resorts of Pennsylvania.2 points

I am not wearing one in my site or walking my dog around but I would not roll up on strangers wanting to get close to them w no mask. I don’t feel like outside wearing one is as important. But people were just all going to each other’s sites striking up conversations close together. Just seems weird Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I know your househotel. That's why I mentioned the Diner. Only saw one couple come in without masks and they left without ordering.... ??1 point

Even if you take the test, and come up negative, all it means is you didnt have Covid up until the minute you took the test. Nothing stopping you from getting it 2 minutes after you take the test.1 point

Oh I agree DeBlassio screwed up. As did the NYC top health officials, as did Cuomo, as did Trump, as did the Republican governors of AZ, Georgia, FL, etc. as did mayors of major cities...the list goes on. The long list of screw ups from leaders across the country is 100% bi-partisan. What I have a problem with is people (not directed at you) thinking their guy or gal did everything right while the other guy or gal did everything wrong depending on the letter behind their name. Not enough people are honest enough to admit that the person they voted for made mistakes. My 2 cents here...but on a Federal level, the 30 / 90 days to stop the spread, daily news conferences, sending hospital boats etc. was all good. Then it all seemed to be forgotten about...no more daily briefings, a pointless rally in Tulsa, Fauci sucks, no setting an example by wearing a mask etc. and numbers surged in tandem. Threatening to pull funding from schools that don't open was absolutely mind boggling (as an FYI more kids have covid now than ever before). What I respect about Doug is that he's saying yeah the guy I supported is doing a bad job. I'm fairly certain that I know Jeff's political leanings as well and he, too, appears to be seeing things through a common sense lens as opposed to a partisan one. As opposed to being a "sell out" I find that commendable.1 point

OK, so what's your argument? That people have politicized this? Of course they have...but you also need to stop doing the same thing you espouse people shouldn't. I'd like to return to a previous statement that you made in rebuttal to @toast21602's unearthing of your early anti-Trump posts. You're basically saying your opinion on Trump's handling of the coronavirus can be purchased by some handouts? You're really helping your middle ground credibility. @GrilledSteezeSandwich isn't the sell out here. I don't care where people aren't wearing masks. Protests, construction sites, Wawa, etc. *Everyone* should be wearing masks when interacting with the public. There is no politics in that.1 point

Cant go telling us Americans what to do. We could have really bit the bullet, really shut things down, and i mean really shut things down...., WTF? Wawa was an essential business? Beer distributors were "essential......LOL. We screwed the fucking pooch on this one. And we will continue to screw the pooch. We wont get it together. We better start praying for a vaccine, or some kind of low level crop dusting, cause common sense aint getting anything done.1 point

TP4 I respect your opinions but do you think it was smart to threaten to withhold funding for schools that refuse to put kids in harm's way? I can tell you, first hand, that that scared the shit out of concerned families who simply aren't ready to send their kids back to school just yet...he actually made that statement (threat) at the height of the pandemic too which is mind boggling to me. The schools should provide the option for online learning for parents who don't feel comfortable sending their kids back...not be forced to open, putting kids at risk, and leaving parents with no alternative.1 point

Amazing how COVID 19...a worldwide pandemic, became political. Remember when people used to come together during difficult times?1 point
