Got one side ready for assembly ...Used a stacked cutting wheel on a laminate trimmer...and hot glued on two little blocks for a fence/depth guide....Pretty cheesy but it worked great...
First pass the base wouldn't flush up with the edge so had to make a second pass and take off a fuzz....The space above the base material got bigger than I wanted but I can put some fiberglass in to take up the space....
Was super nervous when I was doing this...but I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out...
Someone in my neighborhood had a power wheels sitting out for free recently...
Pulled out the old wiring mess...
Added new wiring to the battery and a small cheap battery from Amazon (battery is now secured with a makeshift foam battery box)

We just got the official work from our parent company that we will not be going back to the office for the foreseeable future. Which is what we expected. With schools being virtual we didn't want the pressure of some people working at the office while others had to stay home with kids. I still go in about once a week to stay on top of personnel files and some payroll items which is nice to get out of the house especially. I made it this long without a desk but I think its time to invest in one..
In other news, I got my hair done yesterday for the first time since February. I feel like a new person!
Let me rephrase then... I can go to many hills in PA that get dog shit for snow, that have some sort of marked glades. Elk generally gets snow needed for a hill in pa to have some marked glades, and it sure as hell has the terrain for it, yet it’s not allowed. Kind of like snorkeling being illegal in Florida where the water is clear, but jersey beaches allowing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
i doubt i rode the luge ride Blue calls trees last year even once. Applaud the effort, but with our freeze thaw cycles, they are usually really firm, or dust on crust. Now, a nice heavy snow, then a freeze, then a few light snows on top of that, and there is a whole new playground. God, that was so long ago.
Cobbled together some brackets to hold the board when I cut the slot for the edge and rubber...Also made the cut so the edge sits flush..Used a cabinet square and a utility knife blade...I'll take it out after the slot is cut....
FWIIW, my stepfather who is 84 and in bad health fell, I had to help with getting the meatwagon there to help get him up and to the hospital. He then tested positive for COVID. Wonderful. good news, I am negative, my wife is negative. My brother is negative. So one positive and 3 negatives to Berks total this week. If/when he passes, will be a COVID death although heart/diabetes/other is the real cause. Berks is pushing up to the limits the state is setting.
