It’s fun that you can pick and choose data points to speak to the narrative that you’re trying to prove. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

This is what i cant figure out. People are all uptight, and worried about the reservation thing at JFBB, but i dont know of one confirmed passholder. I'm pretty sure Barb is Epic. It should be really interesting as to see how the Ikon pass works, with a reservation system or whatever. Since Alterra doesnt own most of the resorts, i doubt the partner resorts would consider an Ikon pass holder to be a resort passholder. Seems like the key to skiing this year is to be a passholder. Honestly, it seems being Epic is the way to go if you plan on skiing a bunch of different resorts.......of course, thats what it looks like right now, but we know that some things look good on paper, but shit the bed in the real world. Take for instance, 170 RTM's.3 points

White people are fleeing cities because they don't need to be there anymore as their jobs can now be done remotely, the cost of living is lower, and they can enjoy some space. What exactly is going to change if Biden gets elected that is going to increase violence and crime in the suburbs? And in case you've forgotten, just a reminder to use a fact-based approach when answering that question.2 points

While I'm waiting for epoxy I figured I would cut and fit everything.....I see a huge mess coming trying to get the edge/VDS/fiberglass and epoxy in that groove....then clamped together so everything sits nice....This maybe the toughest part of the build..... I'm just about at the point where if I fuck things up I'm gonna be pissed....2 points

I believe 300k linked to Sturgis... meaning people came back and spread it to others. At least that is how I interpreted the one article I read yesterday.1 point

You forgot about other reasons, like riots, violence, no more plain clothes PD, surging crime.1 point
-
You are partially correct, but they are also leaving cause of the crime and riots (you know someone who did this) also, I said a possibility, and this is why: democratic mayors encouraged looting...FACT Examples: democratic politicians encouraged rioting/looting...FACT (if you don’t like the Omar example I can give more) here’s videos of innocent civilians getting their asses beat in the suburbs: As I said, this may or may not happen in the suburbs. But as we have seen above, the hatred and violence the left has caused over the past few months is rediculous, so who’s to say it will suddenly stop?1 point

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the majority of the stuff at Sturgis outdoors?1 point

"Based on the increase in case count, the researchers group, estimated that cases connected to the gathering resulted in $12 billion in public health costs, not including the costs associated with any deaths that might be tied to cases from the event. That dollar amount is based on another estimation that an average of $46,000 is spent on each patient who tests positive for COVID-19." I mean really. Come on. Do people just truly not care what kind of nonsense they write and publish? This is the equivalent of a @GrilledSteezeSandwich post of an article. It exists but no one really is sure why or what the point is.1 point

"Health officials have linked at least one death to the rally: a male biker in his 60s with underlying conditions." Maybe potentially 'many'1 point

Restaurants can go to 50% capacity starting on the 21st. The story on 6abc has a video of people sitting at a bar in a restaurant, I thought it was table service only? I must’ve missed the memo. also, any establishment serving alcohol has to stop by 10pm.1 point

PA restaurants can increase indoor capacity from 25% to 50% on September 21st. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wtae.com/amp/article/pennsylvania-restaurants-may-increase-to-50-percent-capacity-indoors/339542541 point

I am! Epic Pass. Reservation system isn't terrible. Starting 11/8, you can reserve 7 days at any resort and get credited as you use them. You essentially float 7 guaranteed ski days at any given time on top of getting unlimited reservations for whatever the following week of skiing is. On 12/8, tickets go on sale to the general public, which includes buddy pass sales. I don't know if there will be slots held for week-of reservations or if they're just available when priority reservations/day tickets haven't claimed all the slots. That said, I don't think anyone knows what capacity is for each mountain, so it may be extremely difficult to get buddy passes if there's a bull run of priority reservations.. All things aside, if anyone knows what the uphill policy at crotched will be this season, I'm all ears, and skins.1 point

Hopefully we only have to deal with it this season. At least we will be able to ski. It might not be as easy as every other year, but we'll still get out.1 point

Let us know how skiing at any other resort works out for you guys. Last i checked, nobody was forced into buying a pass at Blue. Its pretty clear everywhere that passholders have the advantage over day pass ticket sales. cant not bring up the elephant in the room either, which is will snowmaking anywhere be the same as it was in years past? Loss of revenue for resorts has to tighten other things up.1 point

Unfortunately I won't be skiing it this winter as I anticipated. Headed out there probably at the end of this month, early next to pick her up.0 points

To be fair, crime is super high in cities right now thanks to Democrats. I didn’t see any foot lockers in the suburbs get cleared out, but if Biden wins, violence and crime in the suburbs is a very real possibility also, white people fleeing the cities right now are super liberal. Black men asked to be treated fairly and those white folks got the fuck out lol0 points
