Yep we are doing an outdoor socially distanced Xmas Rock & Soul Revue again this year as part of the event below. And yes it will include Love At Christmas Time. And all for the low low price of "It's cool to play live music for people again after so long. Maybe consider buying a CD or T shirt or getting the band a round of hot cocoas cause they will be freezing their butts off to entertain you". Have written and recorded live to video 7 new tunes in the Covid Era and believe we have in hand a new record deal where someone is actually paying all of our expenses to record some new originals. Thanks for checking in. Fa la la.4 points

So looking back and double checking the first templates I made for the first set of skis I found a pretty big error, resulting in the ski feeling hooky as described in the TR so I’m in need of new templates. The radius on the tip of the ski somehow ended up being about 14m. I got to drawing and came up with a similar shape but with the correct side cut. I sent this shape out to a shop that has a CNC router table and am hoping to have some pricing back by early this week for templates. This will speed things up a lot as most of my time on the first pair was spent making templates. I’m hoping to be skiing Shape-2 by the end of 2020. I’m still on the fence but I may go full in on this shape, it seems like it should be a fun shape and if I can get the flex right, will be a quiver killer in my book. My hope is to make three sets of skis in this shape, with varying core thickness but the rest of the layup will be identical. This will help me fine tune the flex to what i am looking for. From there I can make more of the core thickness that I like, and you fools can also have a set to ski. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk4 points

Pretty sure if your merry go round is spinning at a constant rate, your velocity at the outside would be higher than the inside. Changing where your cable is in relation to the center of the circle, while maintaining the same linear cable speed, would just change how fast the wheel rotates, not how fast the chair on the cable is actually moving. Someone feel free to correct me on that, been a long time since my last physics class.3 points

There seems to be a mouse super highway that goes under my stove, past dishwasher, in cabinet under sink snd ends at trash can. Traps behind trash can have caught the most (6). Trap in cabinet with microwave caught 1. I hear them in the ceiling at night while we are watching TV and I am always like “come on down motherfuckers, got a surprise for you.”3 points

Congrats on the record deal and new tunes. As always, link up your videos when you make them. I gotta be honest, though. That grass is giving me anxiety.2 points

I saw the movie Bruno with my late grandma and she was not amused at all. I only took her cause she pays and my snacks at the movies cost as much as an entree at the Outback.1 point

Wow thanks. If not for that I’d have to wait until VH1 does a Beagles behind the music to see that raw performance. Ok gonna take off my pants.1 point

Thanks, I haven't heard this in a while so it sounds fresh again. I plan to play this over my Bluetooth Speaker this year while riding up the ski lift between Toast and JFDan.1 point

I don’t think we can afford them. They’ll probably charge a mileage fee from Princeton and want their own Cocoas..1 point

How early do we need to book the band to make sure we get a parking lot show at Christ-a-mas Time?1 point

In PA, ski lifts fall under the jurisdication of the Department of Labor (being looped in with elevators and other lifting devices), amusement rides fall under the department of agriculture (I don't understand either). I think gear box issues do a lot of older lifts in. Willing, that's only based on my experience at Attitash and Doppelmayr's marketing of their new direct drive systems.1 point

I want to say it derailed during hurricane Sandy and never got corrected (could've been a later storm). The drive motor was removed a few years back to replace the one on Merry Widdow II, I'd say its been at least 5 years since it has turned. On the topic of maintenance, a buddy of mine works at AECOM, a large engineering firm, and post acquitision there was an internal job board posting to do civil/structural analysis of all lifts at the acquired Peak Resorts mountains. I'm assuming AECOM's audit, the likely lack of maintenance Peak did in it's final year(s) of ownership, and major issues identified on the quad and other lifts at Peak mountains has Vail being very, very cautious.1 point

Yeah imagine if president Biden puts us in a national lockdown. I doubt it would happen as he wouldn’t take office until 1/20 and will have other things to take care of first.1 point

Boulder looks to have 10” by tomorrow. In other news caught my 7th mouse. Had to switch to glue traps because they were starting to get smart and eat the food without snapping the traps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
