I guess we still dont really know what the maximum occupancy of the mountain is based off of, whether is some type of square footage math problem, or an equation based on what the lifts can handle.......but i would have to assume the percentage of just passholders is quite high on opening day, and the possibility of exceeding capacity with just main and burma is a pretty real scenario. i sort of think the top to bottom thing might be a reality, but thats a whole bunch more ground to cover just to even open with the normal opening offerings. I'm just hoping they can get to making snow around thankgiving.

If McAdoo looked like that I'd sell our house, move there permanently and never leave.

As Blue is saying they will offer pass holders pro rated refunds if Covid causes them to be open less than 100 days, that gives them incentive to be open every early season day they can - as there could clearly be another lock down this winter. And it actually seem the Main street and Burma chairs are better suited to one party per chair than the larger lifts. I'd do an early season day at Blue if they open in Nov for sure

may be more of a challenge this year as social distancing might not be easy with main st/burma chairs, will they wait until they can open top to bottom? That's what K is doing...

Blue will open Root Friday or earlier if the temperatures permit. Long range forecast is mild but it’s super early. Anything before Martin Luther king day is bonus.

Not many enclosed gondolas at amusement parks besides the Skyliner at WDW, but plenty of the open air, seated style. Great Adventure and Busch Gardens Williamsburg are probably the two closest to us. Interestingly, the Scenic Skyway chairlift at Knoebels is an actual ski lift, bought secondhand and repurposed.

Well all of Montana is one area code..406 while Manhattan island alone has multiple area codes. I learned about different area codes from Nate Dogg and Ludacris.

All skiers and snowboarders will be required to wear an acceptable face covering at all times, unless eating or drinking (e.g. seated in a designated area) or actively engaged in skiing or snowboarding provided that the skier or snowboarder is over the age of 2 and able to medically tolerate such covering. We encourage you to boot up at your car and to tailgate. However, no open flames are permitted and all traffic lanes must remain open at all times. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people gather. We may from time to time have to adjust our policies to keep both you and our employees safe. In the spirit of cold weather and possibly some first snowflakes of the skison, here is a nice snow picture of an LV load coming from Lehighton heading towards Lehigh Gap right near the turnpike tunnel. And here is a nice one from between Lehigh Gap and Northampton. I'm hoping for more snow like this.

Itll probably still be bb on 12/4 unless it gets seriously cold and stays cold. Given the way the past few seasons have gone, a November opening seems to be a pipe dream in PA
