This is accurate. If beds aren't available because of COVID, then that takes away beds from other medical emergencies. But yeah, 10k cases a day is not sustainable for healthcare.2 points

I think better data point(s) to track are ICU capacity etc. That will determine what the gov does policy wise rather than surrogate data. If pennsy can handle 10k+/day (or whatever #) then all good. If that # maxes health care capacity than that’s what will drive policy in regard to what business are allowed to operate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

It was circa 2006 so my order of events may be off: 1. Doug’s posting style rubbed a lot of people the wrong way on TGR. 2. Eventually this posting style led to a giant flame war where TGR members were legit harassing his family members in real life. 3. TGR members invaded PASR and spammed the shit out of the board. I believe mods had to stop new membership for that night and delete new accounts. 4. 15 year old chippy went on TGR to defend Doug and got destroyed to the point I felt bad for him. Grown adults were posting pics off his MySpace smh 5. TGR member JLaw witnessed these events and joined PASR2 points

They need more guns on vista. I don’t know how many years like this that it is going to take for them to realize that. Line both sides. Open with vita lift ASAP. Expand terrain from there.1 point

I'm like this....I pretty much wear a mask all day and sometimes I just forget that I'm wearing it......or I'll just wear it to be "that guy driving by himself wearing a mask"1 point

They need to utilize every opportunity they get now. Even if it is only for an hour. I saw they upgraded the drive train for the 6pack, so hopefully it only breaks down once per ride instead of three times.1 point

It was hilarious to watch Doug dig a hole way deeper than he could get out and when Chippy went in to help big brother Doug he got eaten alive. If the same thing happened today, Salty would be the Chippy.1 point

I think we need one of these for a cheese ball dispenser. https://www.chewy.com/bergan-wall-mounted-pet-dispenser/dp/56968?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=hg&utm_content=Bergan&utm_term=&gclid=Cj0KCQiAk53-BRD0ARIsAJuNhpvc5DSmi9KNGE9ffKaV_-FNZULCP5Oc2KCLSufkJH1MHT6MinnvqdkaAg0NEALw_wcB1 point

Personally I don’t care if you wear a mask if socially distancing by acceptable lengths (tho I do if others are around even if we are 6-10 ft apart) but masks will be required when approaching the buffet.1 point

I actually don’t even mind the warehouses that are popping up less than a mile from my house on former farmland, although I dislike the shady dealings that put them there instead of the farmland that it used to be. But I think that 22 should have been widened to 3 lanes in each direction between the 78 access points before they started the warehouse boom along the root between those points.1 point

If God didn’t want us to taste steering wheels, he wouldn’t have shaped them like donuts.1 point

I wore a mask while driving alone the other day. I was actually really happy to have it. I was at the dentist and left with a numb mouth and as wearing a nice white dress shirt so I popped on the mask to avoid any potential stain inducing spittle.1 point

It helps in case you sneeze while driving, then the next person who uses the car won’t get Covid when they lick the steering wheel.1 point

I've done restaurant dining a bunch of times and at first I was uncomfortable with the fact that I didn't want the servers to think I thought of them as "disposable people" because I'm sitting there with no mask on and they are wearing one for protection. Extra nice tip, plus the fact that they are working instead of out of a job made me stop feeling bad. What's up with people wearing masks alone in cars, though? I've noticed it a lot lately and while what other people do is none of my business I am genuinely curious about it. Do they just forget to take it off, is it some kind of virtue signaling, or is there a real benefit to doing it that I should know about?1 point

Good ole internet fuckery haha. Even I think the anti maskers are douche bags lol. I wear a mask in drive thru’s not for myself, but out of respect for the workers.1 point

While I applaud your actions you should probably stop doing that because it will eventually lead you to becoming the subject of a favorite interwebs video that tp4 enjoys watching Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I think a lot of people are getting weird because due to the pandemic we're doing fewer activities and consuming way too much content online and on TV.1 point

Your voice and your vote matter. Support people who value land preservation and not tax money. I'm glad that the township I live in has some of the highest amounts of preserved farmland in Northampton County because people out here value that, surprisingly. Most of my runs out here are through preserved farmland which is great. There are very few large plots of land available for development that aren't preserved.1 point

That’s the one. About a mile from the house. Heading north you can see the lights on top of the ridge when they are on, like 5 in a row. And a glow on the clouds, when there’s cover1 point

They are going to see a lot less people and the same for many Rocky Mountain resorts even with less or no restrictions as people aren’t traveling as much. Also there will be a labor shortage at many of the destination resorts as they rely on foreign workers. Also as Covid sweeps through employee housing and ski patrol and what not major labor shortages. Not good. I can see some Vermont resorts and places elsewhere limiting snowmaking and lift operations to cut costs. Expect some ski town hotels and restaurants to go out of business as well0 points

I agree with all that but didn’t all schools closed for the spring semester? We had most schools open this fall. With all the knowledge I still don’t see the majority of people wearing a mask properly. I keep getting customers that pull their mask down to talk to me [emoji20]0 points
