  1. Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and in the house were BenM, jFDan, MBike, Mike Mrs Snowbunski, Shadows, Junior, Root, Indiggio, TheRealKevinThomas, Toast, Mixilplix, Matt Edge, TP4, Slim, Pops, nmSki, Enjorales, Enjorales cousin, Falco, Eddie, Charles, some of Enjorales other cousins, Ryan, Mute, Pooh Bear, Eeyore I mean Salty and many more. First run on Challenge because I wanted my own run..smoothing frozenish cord..not bad ..mission accomplished then got on razors right as it was about to be closed pretty smooth with a few mini cookies broken loose..nice that it doesn’t have any Root Rollers. Nightmare dreamweaver a little slick..nothing out of the ordinary for poke N Hoe standards. Lazy mile was an improvement over yesterday but not good. Main Street was nice on top and cookies on the bottom and midway was also cookies. I skied until almost 10 then in the lot for beers and sausage Sunday. Sausage sunday number 2 was off the chain with steak, multiple kinds of sausage, beef ribs and flatbreads...also cookies and chips and fruit snacks to make it all four food groups.

  3. Edgie wedgie for the win! Got there a little later than I’d like, but for about 2 hours in this morning. Paradise was for sure best conditions, but the freeride word tour line is starting to get worked in nicely. Good little 3-4 hit line. Came back up in the afternoon for a little bit of school hill action. Went to summit to get a season pass and just skied up there. Unfortunately there were no magic carpet rides to be had, because someone didn’t show for their shift... got a little bit of extra workout today carrying a 30lb weight up hill repeatedly. First day on real skis, lasted about 1.5 hours with a break to explain how snowguns work, and she only fell twice, and wants to go back tomorrow. I’ll count it as a success! 4. Good ski day today at Blue. Good time in the lot too. no complaints from me. Not a good day at another local resort. Rhymes with Track Crossed.

  7. Woot! Skied winter park today. It’s day 5 of my 12 days of Christmas vacation. I woke up at 7am and checked ikon for potential reservations. I suppose people cancelled overnight so I snagged a reservation for today. Not gonna lie though. I looked at the weather and thought - shit. This looks miserable. Temp at 11, wind gust at 25 mph, and cloud cover at 80%. When I asked @Schif, do you think this will be miserable? He told me to go for it. While driving over Berthoud Pass, I was like - wtf - why did I listen to him? I arrived around 10:30. Parked in my typical G lot spot. Hopped on the beer cans and got to the base. Thought about taking the gondola but the line was craaaaay-zee. So, I took the Arrow Lift (2x). In the past 24 hours, there was 6” of fresh snow and people were hypedddd about the fresh powder. when I finally made my first run around 10:30, it was tracked out powder... but still fun. I can’t complain. After Arrow, I did laps on Prospector Express (4x) and laps on Eskimo Express (6x). I ended up doing about 11k of vert over 3 hours. The snow on Engledive had me 😍 While waiting in line I heard a voice that I thought I recognized. I foooooor sure I thought I heard VP elect Kamala Harris behind me in line. But, it wasn’t. It was a mirage. Although, I wonder what my reaction would have been if I saw VP Mike Pense at Vail. Recordless. I ended the day on Hughes & Little Pierre and it was so fun. 😍 thought these pics were funny. Hope you all are getting after it and chasing the snow too.

  10. I will say its annoying AF to have crowd and capacity basically doubled in the morning cause of the race team. That shit needs to be checked.

  11. Great day with fun people and good snow! Not too often I stay later than Steeze. Early morning laps and then over to Valley West with the fam. The school hill was packed and most of the terrain is reserved for lessons. Looked into lessons for the little one and they want $159 for 90 minutes. Holy f@ *it’s Boo Bear

  19. What I don’t get is the liftline person was out in the six pack line when there were no lines the other day but yesterday and today there were some short lines and no liftline Guy. A lot of people trying to ride up with groups. Some lady tried to get in JFDans chair with like four people already and Dan said nope..and the lady was like really. The one asshole who is always waiting around for first chair snuck between Mixilplix and BenM yesterday on the second six pack. He has never had his nose covered once this season. Wears a turtle fun over his mouth

  21. What this reminds ME is how PS5 were sold around Xmas time. BestBuy would announce that at 3pm today they'd have some limited stock added, and then at 3pm the site would just die. You could add PS5 to your cart, but by the time you get to checkout, it would be gone from it. And then they'd replace the "Add to cart" button with a "Please wait" one, and add a separate popup saying that soon this "Please wait" may change back to "Add to cart" and then good luck to you. Meanwhile it would sell at craigslist for 2x retail. Good idea, btw.

  23. This reminds me of being put on hold on the phone. Some really smart companies now let you enter your phone number and they call when it's your turn. It's grate!

  25. I tried to look at lessons today at 11a and it said it was a 50 minute wait to get into the online store. I kept my place in line and checked later, took 70 minutes to get in [emoji23]

  30. Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and Johnny law was already in the house. The temperature was about 20 with a moderate west wind making it feel much cooler. Also in the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Mute, Ryan, PSUGuy, Falco, Mixilplx, Enjorales, BenMEddie, Pops, enjorales cousin, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Toast, Slim, Liftee Bob, GahSkier George, Antman, Rodney, Marty, Charles, Charles Dad and many more. First run most of the PASRs went f R razors which is now open..I went for challenging which was surprisingly good with nice groomed a few whoop dees..after the falls was a little hole in the middle of the run would have got me if I wasn’t such an agile mofo..they actually lollipopped it off about an hour later. Lazy mile was cookieville, Main Street was nice with nice smooth cord at the top..a few guns and floaty manmade poe middle and a mish mash lower down. Paradise had nice chalky manmade..everybody enjoyed that run. Nightmare to Dream Weaver opened today as well I didn’t go on it cause I figured it would be pretty bad but only Blue opens two major runs a day after a monsoon with guns blasting on lower park, Central Park, lower sidewinder, switchback and widowmaker. Fun parking lot...Charles dad gave me a cookie and later Pops bought two pizza pies from the stand w buffalo chicken and a pepperoni and they were MSY mad steezy yo...the temperature never got out of the 20s..all in all it was just another day in paradise and tomorrow should be slightly warmer.

  35. I forgot to go in and bitch about Razor’s being roped off in direct violation of the Governor’s ban on organized youth sporting activities. I can’t even fathom the value of the gift card I surely left on the table.

  41. Skied Abasin this morning with my brother. Arrived at 8:30. The lifts were spinning and we were 4th row in the lot at the base. ABasin may have changed affiliations a few times but I appreciate that you can park at the base and the cell & WiFi reception is the same as it was 20 years ago (aka, non existent) i love skiing on Christmas. Lines are short and the people are all decent skiers. This was the line at Black Mountain Express at 11am. I’ve seen recirculated pics of long lines with no distancing in place... but I just want to show it’s not everywhere. We have a tradition of skiing on Christmas Day. Previous years it’s been Solitude, Keystone, Wolf Creek, Durango, and others. Obligatory Christmas photo for mom. We skied for about 2 hours because we have a Christmas dinner to prep. It was an absolute gorgeous bluebird groomer day. As the sun started to hit the snow, it warmed up and was even better. We winded the day with the Christmas brunch of pb&j and Colorado brews. On the drive down Loveland Pass, there was a small group with a grill cooking Christmas brunch and a tiny Christmas tree. I’m not sure what next year will bring but I’m hoping to keep with Christmas tradition. merry christmas, all!

  42. That was more of a rant. I've needed gas on the return trip ... usually on Sundays ... and have been annoyed every time.
