  1. Why would you rent skis and not just bring your own? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  2. From a pure skiing perspective, if I lived where you do I wouldn't touch PA unless I had to (this is coming from someone that gets annoyed whenever you hate on PA). The extra hour or whatever it is is well worth it. From a non skiing perspective I like the PASR Blue Crew way too much (xoxoxoxo) to not ski there.

  3. Wao when I went to Stowe I got a free sample from the Ben & Jerry's factory. I want to go to Cabot Creamery for some free samples, and maybe a mini jug of apple cider, but I probably won't go to Vermont since the Feds are checking the stats manager on this site for violators.

  4. Hey All, I’m back from another morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:24AM and it was in the upper 30s with light rain. I was hoping the rain would clear out by opening bell but that wasn’t gonna happen. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Slim, Shadows, ZZSlope and BenM. First civilian six pack and it was nice not being having the noise and snowmaking underneath..first run on Challenge was pretty firm and not particularly smooth. Upper Main Street was ok not as good as yesterday and lower was rolly Polly. Paradise was nice and smooth hero snow as was lazy mile. Lower sidewinder is now open and was nice hero snow as well. Skied 8 runs, hangout in the lot for a bit, went grocery shopping, liquor store and now at work closing out the year. Ski everybody tomorrow..after four days in a row not drinking in the lot I’m ready for some beer after some fast snow. JADIP

  9. Always will be. If it wasn't a pandemic season I would suggest a PASR day up there.

  10. Yeah it’s keeping them from selling more night tickets. Night tickets should be less than morning and afternoon.

  16. That’s what I always used to do at the Cabot creamery in Waterbury center Vermont. Sometimes I’d buy a mini jug of apple cider.

  21. Wao, $60 for night skiing at Camelback. That's a bit too much for me. I used to try to get there once a year but l just think $60 is too much. I know Camelback management will read this and give me the PASR rate of $35 like it was just a few years ago.

  22. Hey All, I’m back from another morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was 30 degrees and windy under overcast sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, BenM, Mixilplix, Tele Matt, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Rodney, Drew, Indiggio, Tarponhead, ZZSlope, Enjorales Cousin, C1 and Nastar Glenn. First civilian six pack and down a rough icy ungroomed Razors..then two in a row on Main Street which mice cord carpet on the top half and ok but stiffer and mini cookies on the lower part. Paradise was frozen and loose granular not good like the last few days. Yesterday’s warmth followed by overnight freeze deteriorated the conditions from an 8 out of 10 to a 5. We mostly rode the quad to avoid the snowguns on Sidewinder. Switchback is now open but I didn’t ski it. I’ll give it a day for the cookies to get churned up and smoothed our. Last run we took the Main Street chair and did widowmaker to midway to little gap to Burma to shuttle to lower park. All was nice except widowmaker which was mini cookies. All in all a fun short session but not the titty sparkles of yesterday. Theres still a pair of size six Columbia boots in the lot. The only people I can see them fitting are Mrs. snowbunski and Kyle. 24. Hey All, I’m back from another morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:17AM and it was overcast with a temperature in the upper 20s. In the house were Atomic jeff, JFDan, Mixilplix, BenM, Justo, Enjorales cousin, Indiggio, Bethlehem Ford Guy and many others. First civilian six pack coated in fresh manmade Poe. Razors was closed from the start and not groomed and first run on Challenge was frozen and not that smooth..upper Main Street was the run of the day was better than a lot of western groomers..nice smooth and semi firm with a little cushion for the pushing. A gun midway down main street blowing out wet snot and lower Main Street was rolly Polly and not good..Jlaw would have called it spicy. Nightmare dreamweaver was similar conditions to challenge with some churned up cookies..paradise was not bad and not good..so mostly skied Main Street the rest of the time with one run on switchback which was ok top 3/4 firm and smooth and bottom rolly polly..last run was tuts lane to connector to come around to midway to little gap to shuttle to lower park. Midway had fantastic snow..skied 8 runs from 8-920 and hungout in the lot for about a half hour. All in all upper Main Street made up for the variable conditions on the rest of the hill.

  25. Eaf you should have a beer with us in the lot this weekend. I normally keep 6 feet of distance but for you I’ll keep 2 meters.

  30. Why don’t you move to McAdoo..it has a lot of colonial charm and a nice funeral home..Just a mile or two south of Hazleton if you’re in the mood for a night out or to cruise around looking for loose women.

  32. @Ski2Live Live2Skias the unofficial stats manager, I see you’ve changed your days at Stowe and Okemo to Hunter...that’s not cool..how fucking paranoid are you. I don’t take many things seriously but lying in the stats manager is so messed up.

  35. ROTD was definitely Barney's. They blew a fresh new layer in them and were spectacular from the get go until the crowds got to them. Within a couple hours, all the fresh was scraped out of the troughs and the bumps became gigantic. Unfortunately if we do get some rain, they're going to turn into giant icebergs. ☹️

  37. It’s usually “having fun out here today?” In which I answer “yeah I just got out of prison so it’s been nice” and that usually stops the small talk right in it’s tracks

  39. Woot! Skied winter park today. It’s day 5 of my 12 days of Christmas vacation. I woke up at 7am and checked ikon for potential reservations. I suppose people cancelled overnight so I snagged a reservation for today. Not gonna lie though. I looked at the weather and thought - shit. This looks miserable. Temp at 11, wind gust at 25 mph, and cloud cover at 80%. When I asked @Schif, do you think this will be miserable? He told me to go for it. While driving over Berthoud Pass, I was like - wtf - why did I listen to him? I arrived around 10:30. Parked in my typical G lot spot. Hopped on the beer cans and got to the base. Thought about taking the gondola but the line was craaaaay-zee. So, I took the Arrow Lift (2x). In the past 24 hours, there was 6” of fresh snow and people were hypedddd about the fresh powder. when I finally made my first run around 10:30, it was tracked out powder... but still fun. I can’t complain. After Arrow, I did laps on Prospector Express (4x) and laps on Eskimo Express (6x). I ended up doing about 11k of vert over 3 hours. The snow on Engledive had me 😍 While waiting in line I heard a voice that I thought I recognized. I foooooor sure I thought I heard VP elect Kamala Harris behind me in line. But, it wasn’t. It was a mirage. Although, I wonder what my reaction would have been if I saw VP Mike Pense at Vail. Recordless. I ended the day on Hughes & Little Pierre and it was so fun. 😍 thought these pics were funny. Hope you all are getting after it and chasing the snow too.
