Today was our last day at Wolf Creek on this trip. It snowed 11” yesterday and there was plenty of untracked to be found in the trees just a short traverse off the Alberta lift. Also the ridges were nice and smooth with wind blown powder on all the aprons. I’ve been having fun on the ridges which are an easy skate traverse from the treasure lift and jumping off of some small cornices. Mostly skied the fresh powder in the trees today and was finding shin to knee deep powder even until lunchtime. Skied with the fam after lunch and drove back to Albuquerque. So glad we experienced a low key area with great snow and terrain. No crowds anywhere all week either. pics from today

Can't thank @Barb enough for the extended stay at her place. It's in an awesome spot. Feels like home. I hit the road 4 weeks ago, and have been loving every minute. Seems like forever ago that I was in Telluride.

Rode the skis today...Lots of varied conditions today.....Back to the Blue conditions we know.....but overall a good day on the hill...Slightly less crowded than it has been.....Some guy ask JL and I if we would move our cars so they could park...HaHa...we told him no.....But there was some other drama in the lot today... but I will let someone else tell the tale....

At this time my legal counsel advises me to say only that I was struck by a vehicle.

Today was World Tele Day, a day of peace, love and stank! Niko got his tele setup yesterday and just ripped it, fun morning skiing with the kid - we haven't done that in too long. Lot shenanigans hit a new high/low when an angry elf pulled in...

As I was leaving some guy from NY pulled up and asked me how he can buy lift tickets if the sign at the entrance says sold out. 🤦‍♂️ but yeah, back to standard late season Blue conditions.

Redeemed two guest passes for today and they didn’t work of course. My guest pass said “cancelled” and Boo’s season pass stopped working. Went in to fix it and after them saying they’re good, the passes swapped working/not working in our group and my season pass stopped working. Went in again and they said it was because we have separate season pass accounts that they connected(wtf?) Wish I could have stayed for the parking lot drama but had to go. Hopefully there’s a breakdown.

So who’s gonna tell the lot drama story?

This version is like they redacted version of govt reports. Good day but definitely back to a more normal blue snow, I hoping the normal empty bleachers spring shows up soon but I doubt it.

I had 15 extra minutes so I sat on the side of the road to watch the planes landing at SLC. There was a sign that said "no parking between signs", but as there was only one sign I didnt see any issue. A few minutes later a cop pulled up and nicely told me I cant sit there. He said the air traffic control tower called him about me 💁‍♂️ @Schif SLC layout sucks and the TSA scanning area is one giant fuster clucker

South of the Mason Dixon line. Baltimore/DC actually used to host a couple of ski areas within an hours drive. These were small, but introduced skiing to a lot of folks in the 60s and 70s.

SLC may suck but it has the best views.

Hey all, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was cloudy with a temperature in the upper 20s. In the house were Antman, JFDan, Toast, Mute, Ryan, Enjorales, Johnny Law, Pops, Falco, Eddie, Charles, Enjorales cousin, Mixilplix, MBike mike and many others. First run on challenge was pretty good..hardback but smooth. Sidewinder was also ok but little cookies the last section which law compared to Chamonix. Switchback was pretty nice and midway and lower Main were lots o cookies and wet manmade. Paradise was nice and lazy had nice snow but slow. Liftlines were long but could have been worse. I managed 9 runs in an hour and 45 minutes. The parking lot involved some beer chips and even a cupcake thanks to MBike mike..I bugged out before noon and at my work now about to eat some Panera. I’m sure others will have more to add.

Like wise dude....Prolly be on the board tomorrow...

Went up last night. Lazy was pretty good, everything else could be described as: Sugar and Ice and everything dangerous. When people were near you it legit sounded like a flyers game. They fired up a lot of snow guns when I was leaving. Mostly trail intersections, the base area and they were blasting the whole learning area at the bottom and the entire length of paradise.

Just follow me the whole time, if I die it means “don’t do that” and you go a different way.

We have a little group that parks in the corner and pulls out their camp chairs to boot up. Got complimented on my fold up rocking chair yesterday. Occasionally have to use the bathroom and am scared of the hand driers. Story about a nurse that dressed up for her hospital around the holidays as a fan powered inflatable Christmas tree and spread Covid to practically everyone on the floor. Wife and I are a little achy after our second Moderna shot yesterday, but no major reactions so far.

All flights have been full. Masks required the whole time unless you eat or drink. Otherwise nothing really different. Delta has empty middle seats for another month or 2 but not sure about other airlines

Thought my GoPro battery was dead but it was taking video for 42 minutes straight. First world problems 💁‍♂️ I'll probably put a short montage video together Sunday. But I didnt yell milk it on this trip or ski the Elan Ripsticks in the parking lot
