Feeling the love today after yesterday. . Chemically stripped the warm wax off my skis, fibertexed the bases, rewaxed, and touched up the bases. 9 great runs down Razors. Paradise and Sidewinder were good too. Switchback OK, but lower Main Street pretty icy. Challenge was good, but started getting skied off. Falls was a little icy. No crowds to speak of. Got pretty quiet around 11.6 points

Got here last night, skiing DV as I can wake up at 830 and make first chair at 9. Warm, currently working overtime on my Goggle tan. Groomers were firm and smooth first thing and now turning to a delicious slush. Off trail was brutal boilerplate but maybe late afternoon I'll see if it's soft. Empty run after run and oysters at the top, fine living for a Monday.6 points

Marcy is a popular spot so take that into consideration....not only the peak but the trail itself...If you are interested in other hikes...This isn't a bad one..Trail head is in Saint Huberts area...Hike the road to Lower Ausable lake...take the short trail to check out Rainbow falls then hike up to Pyramid Peak..short hike over to Gothics...you can loop back down to the road...Some outstanding veiws.. I will only let @AtomicSkier milk that. Do you have any urns lying around at work? We could fill that up with milk.4 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. In the house was Atomic Jeff, C1 and Bethlehem Ford Guy. Temperatures were around 30 under overcast sky’s and they blue snow on a good percentage of open terrain overnight. I began on Razors and the new manmade was groomed in perfectly and I can describe the snow best as styrofoamy..not dry chalk but also not sticky icky. Me and Atomic Jeff continued to lap Razors and I think we saw four people on the run in the first six runs. The six pack is still down but luckily crowds were sparse enough that at most there was only a several chair wait for the quad. Managed 7 runs on Razors in the first hour and ended up with 9 total by 920am. Was much better skiing than expected..I figured the snow would be mediocre and lines would get long fast and I was wrong and wrong. JADIP3 points

I skied from about 945-630. What a fun, fun, fun day!! Lots of ski ladies in the house, marvelous tailgate, then back out. Snow was absolutely perfect, even Burma. And no crowds.2 points

With nice weather people will be outside more which will likely mitigate major transmission spikes.2 points

I have to say that even though there were many complaints about BM pricing this year, buying in advance really makes skiing there way cheaper than e.g. at CB. This could've been a $28 at BM if bought a few weeks ahead.1 point

Try to post a report. Your camelback reports are the best!!! Especially your tubing report.1 point

That lift is nice. There were never long lines there in my 2 days. Now Crest Lift on the other hand sucks.1 point

No sugar junk piles tonight. Far from it. Smooth for the most part, fast, could edge without issue. Loved it!1 point

It’s been one full year since this post. What a wild ride it’s been. Glad to see that everyone here has remained healthy through it all. The conversation in here has definitely changed over the last year and now with vaccines coming out more quickly there is definitely some bright light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s to making it a year, and hopefully never starting a thread like this again 🍻1 point
