Looking like I will have ribs, chicken drumsticks, pork chops, burger sliders, pork tenderloin, NY strip steak, eye round roast (sous vide long-time), and probably turkey breast. Griddle, pizza oven topper, tailgate grill, smoker for cooking. Egg rings, couple griddle spatulas, tongs, squeeze bottle water/oil, knife, cutting board. Am I forgetting anything?5 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain I arrived at the lower lot at 820am and it was 31 degrees under party sunny sky’s with strong northwesterly winds In the house were Atomic Jeff, Tele-Matt, C1er, BethlehemFordGuy, Voltmer, Enjorales and Pops. The six pack started running a few minutes late and I started on Razors which had surprisingly nice grooming and was a little nicer than frozen cord. After a few runs on Razors I tried Switchback which was decent especially the last pitch. Then continued mainly onto Razors with one foray over to Main Street which had nice groomed snow but was in a wind tunnel No liftlines and comfortable temperatures made for a better than expected session after over an inch of rain yesterday. I’m looking forward to some spring conditions and party rocking this weekend JADIP4 points

Ridgeracers content is fact based. No fake news. Dont want to tarnish a fine periodical without proper investigation. I am sure he has his team out investigating.4 points

53 on Challenge lower down out of the wind. Trying to ski like my hero Jeff with a low carving profile. Of course, since I was keeping low the GPS might not be too accurate. 46 on Main Street. I just linked Slopes up to Strava a couple of weeks ago.3 points

Skied until after 1. Razors and Challenge never softened up. Switchback was completely smooth like Telly Savalas’ chrome dome. Got a little soft up top and very soft at the bottom by the time I left. Some loose stuff on Sidewinder left side but right side was still frozen cord. The wind never really let up, was an effort to get over to razors. Corral never got past the inside ropes. Skied 27 runs, personal bests on Strava on Challenger, Nightmare and Main Street even with the wind. Conditions were really easy on the knees which is why I got so many runs in. Silver helmet guy showed up later. Good time had by all.3 points

If any of the other parties are an indication the meat comas and beer buzzes won't wear off enough to drive home until at least 3pm2 points

I'll bring plenty of beer Sunday and I'll make or buy some sort of dessert. I'll probably only hang out until lunch time Sunday unfortunately but looking forward to the party2 points

Honestly it was a good season, granted it's not over but all things considered it was a question mark coming in. Rumors were swirling about night skiing etc yet blue put forth a solid season, complete with powder days, open every day... Sunrise to sunset, decent conditions for the most part, fresh gravel and the premier of coming soon. Honestly what else can you ask for. Nice job blue.2 points

Very very wet. I brought a change of pants, socks, and shirt, but no boxer shorts, so my underwear was soaked on the way home. I had my shortest day of the year at 10 runs, saw like 3 other people the whole time. Glad I went, had fun...but visibility was a bit tough2 points

Exactly waiting around for stuff isn’t that bad when you can just play on your Samsung iPhone or whatever you have now. A few weeks ago I was on the way back from work and stopped at Starbucks to get a little caffeine pick me up and like 10 cars in line and I left my phone at work and was torture...reminded me of the days I used to have to read the back of shampoo bottles and service merchandise catalogues while I was taking a dump.1 point

I just shared this video with my friend Lindsey who saw Aunt Mary pat live in Bensalem. I bet for $600 I could get AMP to come to Blue and surprise BenM Sunday1 point

In addition to the two bottles of champagne I bought two different kinds of sausage. One has some sort of cheese in it which is my favorite because the flavors explode in your mouth.1 point

Most of my friends who were on peak passes, got epic’d this year, and will either be going with an Indy pass, blue or montage, or nothing. The amount of people that don’t buy them again probably won’t hurt vail, but there is a ton of online buzz amongst skiers and riders that shows a movement toward ikon or independent areas. I know it’s anecdotal, but in the words of our supreme leader, it is what it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
