Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was 28 degrees under sunny sky’s. In the house were Mixilplix, Salty, Toast, Atomic Jeff, Mute, BenM Ryan, C1er, JFDan, PARidge, Schifdawg, Schifdawgs mom, Schifdawgs hot aunt, Enjorales, Enjorales Dad, Nancy, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, Justo, Rose, Ty, GSSucks, Marty and many others. Razors was really nice softish cord to start and stayed decent. Nice cord on upper Main Street, sidewinder got pretty deep sugar fast, Paradise was ok and many got extra sendy on the falls. While I skied there were no real liftlines, just a minute or two mostly on the six pack. They also seeded bumps on the right side of challenge and the rest of it was decent hardback. Nice sunny 50 degrees in the parking lot..had a couple beers and some snacks and was out before noon. Ski everybody tomorrow for party day!!!9 points

Longest day ever at Blue. Didn't get home until after 6pm 1. Teaching your mom to ski is not the most fun thing when you have no idea how to ski yourself but @skiincy popped over to the learning hill and saved the day a little bit. 2. Had no idea the restaurant at the top had such good food. Just assumed it was good for a ski resort but I was pleasantly surprised. 3. Razors was grate 4. Might have gotten a little sunburned7 points

Kyle I'll bring my acoustic and play it for you. Unless I can plug into BenMs generator...in which case I'll bring my electric guitar and amplifier and play it the right way.5 points

I think with the Big Cottonwood area, it would need to be an Airbnb. Now Brighton does have a small 'motel' by the Crest lift, but I'm sure it is tough to get a room. Nice.. Herber City! Home of Cael Sanderson!... And I'm sure most people don't care, but PSU was/is dominant in the NCAA wrestling Finals tonight(4 for 4)2 points

Lots of rumors flying around today that it's a done deal, with Barb holding onto like 10%. Heard that both Camelback and Blue were bought by the same company, which would coincide with EPR. Also heard that hotel is also a go, but conflicting reports as to whether or not it'll be in the valley or up top.2 points

Made a quick loaf of rye for tomorrow. Once it cools I’ll cut it up and it will be good to go. Just packed my mimosa drinking glass. Plenty of paper towels and I’ll bring some cups as well.2 points

Indiggio the next time there’s a major vaccination effort the Bethlehem health bureau should contact you for logistical advice. They’ve vaccinated over 30,000 people and the wind creek casino was generous enough to donate the space. It’s up to the individual whether they want to eat, gamble or shop there after being vaccinated. Anyway I take what you say with a grain of salt cause you bitch about everything.2 points

Absolutely, LV is a hotbead. The Sasso match was tough. I like how Iowa won the team title, but half of their team is from PA. My parents always liked wrestling. My parents went to Lock Haven College and I know they used to take me to matches as a kid( back when the PSAC schools all had good wrestling programs). In the end I'm a PSU fans in everything1 point

I’ve always followed just because of living in the LV and my family friend wrestled for Lehigh so we always went to those matches and EIWAs. PSU was never a contender back then. I’m not loyal to any team but I enjoy watching local kids on the big mat this tournament. Sasso is from Nazareth and ended up as runner up tonight at 149.1 point

I was never a wrestling fan, but have grown to really enjoy,,( As a kid I played bball so we didn't like each other... Haha) I think with PSU still being pretty young they didn't really capture the bonus points that put the over the top in past years. Will be fun watching the next few years1 point

So KSL would be the actual owner? Camelback is their only other ski area. Who's ready for a cb / blue pass? https://kslresorts.com/our-properties/1 point

Copy that. I’ll leave it at home then. Shooting for a 7:15 arrival. See everyone in the morning!1 point

I really thought the pasr skis pulpit rock would have made the cover but maybe I’m bias 🤷🏼♀️1 point

BM might need some venture capital to finance expansion. Doesn’t sound like they would merge with CB. Their ski property lists JF/BB, Hunter, Wisp ands Northstar at Tahoe.1 point

I don’t understand how toothpaste will repair a scratch in a pair of goggles. Most of my older goggles get some scratches eventually. I’ve never tried to repair them and once your eyes get adjusted you probably won’t even notice. Anyhow over the summer I bet you’ll be able to find comparable goggles cheap on the inter web.1 point

Today was amazing, skied for 2.5 hours and did some runs with @enjoralas, @Schif & @pops. All the runs were fun, felt good on my new skiz thru the sugar on Sidewinder and Main Street. Only got yelled at one time by @AtomicSkier for inadvertently putting the bar down on the chair he was going to sit on - was too fast trying to get on and didnt mean to do that 🤷🏻♂️ Said sorry about 2 or 3 times and fortunately got the bar up before I really FUBAR'ed the line. Whoops! Also scratched my 1 yr old goggles which is terrible and the toothpaste method did nothing - I think it made it worse than before. Ice is nice JADIP, planning for a long day at Blue tomorrow from 7:15 to 4:30 probably. WTGAI1 point

This is my 9th day on snow this trip. ... I should learn by now, it has snowed the day I've been scheduled to fly out for all three of my Utah trips.. luckily I've been able to extend with little cost every time. Legs are dead--never got into great shape this year--(goal for this off season). This past summer and fall were tough with a busy work schedule and I got myself into probably the worst shape of my life!1 point

I brought 2 packs of blueberry bagels last year but no one ate them 🤷🏻♂️ But since then I've eaten 1 blueberry bagel every morning for a full year now. Great success1 point

Looking like I will have ribs, chicken drumsticks, pork chops, burger sliders, pork tenderloin, NY strip steak, eye round roast (sous vide long-time), and probably turkey breast. Griddle, pizza oven topper, tailgate grill, smoker for cooking. Egg rings, couple griddle spatulas, tongs, squeeze bottle water/oil, knife, cutting board. Am I forgetting anything?1 point

Nice, super glad you’ll be there. Either is fine. I may have a small homemade pie to throw in there to show off the stoke. Mostly focused on the meats tho. Just left Restaurant Depot and they now have those Nathan’s jalapeño and cheese dogs I had at the one sausage Sunday last year, they were really good. Have to buy a 5lb pack tho.1 point
