Just got back from our fall trip out west, visiting New Mexico. Trip didn’t start out too well, with a large branch falling on our windshield coming out of a state park in Missouri. But other than that, it went pretty well. Visited the area around Taos, then west towards Los Alamos and the state parks and BLM land in that area. Then south to the lava fields south of Grant along with Inscription rock. Then further south to Silver city and the Gila National Monument area.

Today’s reminder of recent seasons. Still a bit away from this year’s start.

great the one year we don't go its a PASR party...lol It's usually a good time, grab some beers and watch some skiing, see some faces you haven't seen in awhile. The swag ain't what is used to be though. A few years ago the movie was like a two hour commercial and really bad, probably that's the one. The best ski movies were when the meatheads toured and came to the ice house, that was a hoot and lot's of swag. Another cool one was when Glen Plake did a showing of the Edge of Never at Bear Creek, with intro and Q&A after. Such a cool dude we got to hang out with him and Kim for awhile after

I went to the warren Miller premier in philly 2 years ago pretty much for the vouchers. The movies are generally terrible, and the vibe usually about the same. I think the glory days of rowdy movie premier parties in the mid Atlantic are pretty much dead, sadly. We almost walked out of the WM one two years ago it was that lame. Hadn't had the Mazda out since mid August. Took a ride up to Blue to run some gas through it, then filled the tank up...Ready to be put on stands for the winter...

After sooo many delays my final slab was poured yesterday. Framing to begin next week. Feel like things will start to take shape now.

Spent some time in Prague last night and today en route to Olomouc for a work trip. Walked downtown last night for some food and beer and ran around old city this morning before heading out. Cool place.

Seeing all the opening day FB memories from Blues historically early opening day in 2019 is sad but we’re getting real close to ski season.
