Big fan of this angle

When we do breakfast in the lot one day, we will make some scrapple on the flat top for RR.

looks like an inch or so on my deck, and the road is covered. JFBB is reporting blizzard conditions, and 6"so far.

Thin and crispy scrapple man myself. Best I ever had was Midway Diner off of 78, hint of liver flavor. Believe it or not scrapple is probably one of the healthier breakfast "meats", low fat, high fiber

i expect the last one to go down shortly.... its gone now it'd be nice if they are actually upgrading the equipment itself, rather than just fixing the fact that they dont work or are pointed in weird directions.

Love a good crust. Bread, @toast21602, scrapple. All deserve a good crust.

Yeah, nothing wrong with a thick, hefty piece, but it definitely has to have a good "crust" on it with some gooey, soft, deliciousness in the middle. Cooking the hell out of it is akin to a well-done steak.

the only way i dont like it is basically under cooked. it should at least have a crisp outer layer. totally crispy like a potato chip isnt my fav, but it will do. Cant rush cooking scrapple.

you havent lived until you have had scrapple. it might be my favorite breakfast meat. Scrapple is probably like the only thing i eat, where i completely admit that one should ignore, or not know whats in it. Delicious. Friends of mine used to make it on their farm, so i usually got a few bricks.

The drive from Vancouver to Whistler was pretty nice when we were there. Got to stop at a waterfall and get a lifestyle shot of @toast21602on the shoreline. Heard stories it could be spicy if the weather is bad though.

I know! i'm Epic.....i have insider info. But they also have no working webcams, which seems par for the course. the no cardboard classic thing does not surprise me one bit. Everyone i know who used to go thought it was due to Covid, but the reality is, the only snow that fell on either tubing hill was from God. i dont know why, but it doesnt seem like Vail is interested in Tubing, and even less interested in the cardboard classic. Tubing is so stupidly popular in the Poconos.

scrapple is good but man it has to be cooked right. i went to the springfield diner (is it even still there?) and they brought me out like a loaf of it. i'm talking .75-1" thick. i was like what. that just aint right. it's gotta be thin and crispy. and smothered in franks.

They already groomed out the whales multiple times...your opinion isn’t even unpopular but it’s off base...you spent too much time sucking in those fireplace fumes in created butte to remember what opening day is like here.

That's the beauty of the west. You can go from nice, comfortable temps in one spot and be on the snow / feel like winter in a few hours by car. Here in the NE if it's cold in the mountains it's cold everywhere.
