Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at 715am and it was in the mid 30s under partly cloudy sky’s with light winds. In the house were Atomic Jeff, TP4, SaltyAnt, Mixilplix, Matt Edge, Zach, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Rick, Indiggio, Slim, Tarpenhead, Jim Daily, Ryan, Mute, JFDan, BenM, Charles and many more. Conditions at opening bell were pleasent..smooth vista, condensed sugar in midway and lower Main was boilerplate but smooth which is better than the mini root rollers of yesterday. Crowds were light..almost like a country club..got a little oil drop on the Main Street lift...minimal overnight snowmaking as well. Vista was nice cruising but lots of trail whores..midway was low Vis sugar piles..not the best not the wurst. Parking lot was nice comfortable weather for the third day in a row...peaced out before noon...I’ll be monitoring the potential weather event this Wednesday could be a rider of the storm situation or a disappointment..see what happens. Anyway as everybodh agrees this is bonus skiing and hats off to Blue for being open for the die hards!!9 points

Aside from that a fun solo morning at JF. Quick 12 runs thru One Park although they only had a few features. Fortunately nobody was really hitting the rails I was doing so the lips held nicely till I left. beautiful weather, no lift lines for the first 90 minutes and decent snow.3 points

Had a great time this morning skiing with everyone, hanging in the lot, and pissing all over myself.3 points

Allow me to fix this post for you. Sunday December 5th 2021... ”Dear Diary...Montage didn't open. Skipped skiing this weekend. Will get back on skis Dec 16-17 as taking Joy to NOLA next weekend.” There. That's better 🙂2 points

It’s looking like decent midweek snowmaking temperatures for a little resurface and maybe get Burma open and start on lazy mile and upper Main Street. It’s not looking very probable that we’ll get a midweek snowstorm but things change.2 points

Went out for a tour today at Moffatt Tunnel. Had to carry our skis for about 1/2 mile before there was enough snow to put them on. At first it wasn’t so bad, but then it was just an asteroid field of rocks to dodge. We went about 1.7 miles in and it was not improving at all so we turned around. skied down part of the way w skins on to protect bases but it was no good. After 1/2 mile took off skis and put them back on our packs. Still counting it as my first day. All pics of my friend Ilise. this is a good one to show all they rocks2 points

as per there web page... DINING VACCINATIONS Guests ages 12 and over will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to dine at our indoor, on-mountain quick-service (cafeteria-style) restaurants. This requirement includes those guests 12 and over in our ski and ride school programs that include lunch. More information on the verification process and the list of quick-service restaurants requiring proof of vaccination can be found on the Resort Dining Page during the season. Consistent with many other large-scale indoor activities and venues, we believe the vaccine requirement is important for the protection of our guests and our employees, given the number of people using these facilities and the fact that guests will not be wearing face coverings while eating and drinking. This is currently the only part of our experience that will require proof of vaccination, unless required by local public health1 point

Hey All, im back from day two at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at 710am and it was in the mid 30s under mostly cloudy sky’s which became partly sunny. Winds were low and in the house were PARidge, Johnny law, mixilplix, JFDan, Toast, Mute, Ryan, Slim, Indiggio, Antman, atomicJeff, NMSki, BenM, Tarponhead, Justo, Joans husband, Gary, Gary, Bethlehem ford guy and many others. The 8am rope drop was more subdued than yesterday...I was maybe 6-7th down..the rolly Polly mini root rollers on Main Street slowed me down about..yeah yeah excuses are like assholes and belly buttons everybody has one. It was pleasant skiing with no real lift lines and perfect weather. In the mad Goldilocks, just right..come around was pretty ok before it got sugary..it’s nice not having to worry about getting unanticipated air to the left of the last feature. Midway was alright..rowdy and tight..right side of lower Main Street was a bit better but the lighting was goofy. Easy out and vista were nice for cruising. I 100% consider this bonus skiing so I’m not going to rate the conditions like a pizza review. I skied 7 laps then hungout in the lot for way longer than I skied for and enjoyed some beer, Boilo, sour cream and onion chips and commaraderie. I was just commending those guys for getting up so early to get there. I'm not ready for that yet, I have to work up to it. I'm used to sleeping until 8 am or later. So I went to Jack Frost today instead (since they open at 9) and left my house at 8:15 after taking the webcam pic and still made it for First Tŕax. It was rad1 point

Pre Thanksgiving activity yesterday here in Georgia. Drove about an hour north to Garland Mountain Sporting Clays to skeet shoot. I used to target practice quite a bit, but that was one of the things I gave up after kids, and never really got back into. Shot some clay pigeons yesterday, and it was fun. Of course, hubby came in first out of our group of 6. There’s a place right outside Egypt Pa to do this. May have to take a trip up there1 point

You need your vaccine card to essentially use the lodge. I don’t feel like carrying that around and risk losing it. What a fucking joke.0 points
