Nothing new open. Surprise snowmaking. Good first runs. Midway was actually pretty great but still allowed me to refine my skills since I didn’t bitch out and ski somewhere else. Saw @indiggio but was off cycle so never linked up. Nice way to start the day.

Serious inversion going on right now:

Nobody can say that they arent taking advantage of any chance they get to make snow. Kudos to them. Past 2 days have had bonus snowmaking temps, although not the best temps. I hope this holds, it looks like after some moist on Saturday, we get some decent overnight temps starting Sunday.

Quick morning session today. Surprised they were able to be blowing in the valley, but very welcome. Seemed like they were able to put a dusting down all over as the very first run was excellent, but everything went to marbles and sugar quick. Caught a glimpse of @toast21602from the chair and then again running back up to the lot later in the day.

Late start, not to terrible. Anything before Christmas is a bonus .

Maybe Salty can fly over and give a report.

You can ditch it this season. They may refund you if you haven't used the pass yet.

You should try your BM pass there anyway, just to see if it works. Supposedly senior & child passes work at Camelback. Would be funny if regular passes would too!

Temperatures look good for another night of snowmaking.

Sometimes on weekdays there’s always a PASR at Blue...you have the people who are there for opening..late morning/early afternoon peeps..people who bug out of work early to get there before the school kids and some arrive at 630-7 to get the last runs of the day.

We were able to see some snow through the trees on the upper part of Lazy.

Many of us are up midweek to meet up as well. There are usually buddy passes floating around when it comes time for our PASR day at the end of the season.

Hey All, I’m done with another session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at 835am and it was much quieter than Thursday and Friday AM..less Booms out but the hardcore like Rodney, Bethlehem ford guy and Atomic Jeff were in the house. The snow was smooth and fast..no cookies and yes they blew snow all over overnight. It was so quiet and peaceful and every run was pleasant. I forgot what it was like not dogging people every run. Temperatures were in the upper 30s and the sun was shining. Peaced out at 1015 and now getting some CFA.

Masks haven’t been required all year in Catasaqua, from what the wife’s cousin told her. They just dropped that foolishness in Northampton yesterday. It’s about time.

KSL is pumped that they bought the best ski area in PA. Hopefully they unload that dump Camelback.

Awesome news..Camelback has announced their opening date of December 22nd. Only 19 days after Blue opened.

Finally got my pass . Hopefully some late morning turns today, Is the base lodge open in case I have an issue with the gate . Thanks

Monday conditions were nice. Got there about 10 and left 12:30. 40 degrees warming up to 45. Sunny, loose granular, never got at all slushy, no skid marks. DeMattes was in very good shape as was One Park. No lift lines except for a couple of times the lift stopped. A lot of boarders today. The close lot never got full (although the slope side u is blocked off). Not as challenging as Midway and Lower Main Street, but my max speed at Blue last week was 30 mph, and at Frost today was 45, and conditions held up well, so there is that. Hate having to skid to keep my speed down. Knees are holding up well, some electronic problems with the new phone though, lack of an audio port is a pain.

Wao you'll be going pro from skiing Midway so much, pretty soon you'll be jumping off Couloirs.

They should raise the age for free season passes to 80+. Bridger bowl already did that and 70-79 is senior and half price.

If I do I'll still be sure to hang out with you guys in the parking lot at least once a week (especially when Toast is there) and we can share some Fun Dip.
