My first real ski day of the season. I forgot my phone and felt so weird not having it. So only a couple pics my friends took. Went to Copper, 10 degrees pretty much all day. The Dew Tour was there so things were kinda crowded at the base, but not they runs. The lift kept stopping which was annoying so one run it took about 30 min between the line and the 3 stops while we were on it. Copper has a lot of terrain opened and the coverage was good the snow quality was not great we have had a lot of wind here so that is part of the reason very scraped off. Still a super fun first day4 points

No, without going into too much detail on the public forums, it's with general aviation down in Delaware That sounds like a cool job though!1 point

I haven't looked yet either, maybe today with the rain I'll work on them. However, I did feel a few hits on my heels, so I'm sure there's gonna be some.1 point

This is badass..you can go all the way from Portugal to Singapore by train. For that journey you better bring a couple of good magazines lol https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/portugal-singapore-train-rail-travel-b1975630.html?utm_content=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR3cFL7e0uLlhZbGFECAQDiJcoOspHGPXcbgIrHSeOxPKCpdsv6j5R5mfW4#Echobox=16394817161 point

Which I hate. When I was in the food service industry I would always push back on putting anything cooked on the flat top with the word “grilled” in it. Even if you blanch it on a broiler and finish it on a flat top, there’s a noticeable difference between being grilled and seared. Truth in menu was (and still is) a big deal for me at places. always love seeing a “grilled Philly cheesesteak” when out of town. 99% chance it sucks.1 point

I took the train from Leipzig to Munich to Füssen and back. I got up at like 4:00am to take the first ICE train out, but it was delayed several hours, so impulsively decided to hop on the local "Trans-Thuringian Express" over an alternate route. which turned out to be anything but an express. No regrets though, the scenery was nice. Germany looks a lot like Pennsylvania.1 point

Ok salty said most of it. And despite his stupid sujopo crap he's spot on. Travel time is travel time. That's how I look at it at least. I've left the white face lot wearing ski pants and been home in time for dinner... Iate dinner but I was there for dinner nonetheless. I've done this math numerous times at least as it pertains to me and where I live. But the only comparable flight out west would be a direct to salt lake from philadelphia. For me however I'm still doing the hour and 45 minutes to the airport then an hour and a half to two hours at the airport killing time then 5 hours in the air then the 45 minute ride to the resort. Other than that to get anywhere out west I'm looking at 13 hours minimum. And honestly that shit gets exhausting sometimes I'd rather do the five and a half drive. You're missing out if you don't try white face. 5 and a 1/2 hours to 3200 vertical feet is tough to beat1 point
