I got my sister a nice(?) set of Line ski poles for Christmas, wrapped them too look like a shotgun, should be interesting during family Christmas tomorrow as that side of the family is not fond of guns.
Hunter is grate! Very rad conditions, basically a 10/10. I got up at 4:30 am to get after it but it's been totally worth it. Not too crowded and grate perd! Current taking a coffee break at the Sonic and eating Captains Wafers and a bernaner, then time to get after it for 2 more hours. Sickbird
Damn. You all are like Joey Chestnut. With the amount of food I've consumed Friday (Christmas cookies and other baked holiday goodness). Last night for Christmas Eve dinner with my family (Italians get nuts on Christmas Eve) and today (Christmas dinner of course) I'm never eating again.
We got take out Chinese and when we opened it up it was the wrong order. Nothing looked appealing and it was too far to drive back. I grabbed a full size snickers from the mini bar where we are staying and called it good.
I actually didn’t eat all that heavy this weekend. Christmas dinner was on the Eve at my parents, ham, mashed, corn, some olives. A normal sized plate, nothing huge. Couple crescent rolls. Tonight we ordered Chinese food. That was 2 hours ago, so I’m already ready to eat again.
Im surprised with no Falls...that way we get to ski the whole Mile..so 15 runs instead of the predicted 22 and two roots down...three if you count Burma. I’m also just happy no more loser lifts.
Full disclosure…..not mine. Stolen from the WWW. I didnt notice the masking tape…lol.
I have minimal patience for wrapping gifts, and the wawa hoagie paper seems like a baller idea.
Upper main was damn fine for the first run. Took the vista lift to get first public run down it with Pops. It was le tits. Butter cord with a skiff of natural groomed into it and on top. Didn’t bother with it again after.
See yinz Sunday
Absolute best conditions of the year so far. Those first few runs were fantastic. No doubt about it. I have more Christmas beers to hand out on Sunday morning. Ski you then! Hope everyone has a great, safe, and fun holiday with family and friends! Cheers!
