main was super good, as was midway. Just think, when the Super Summit Six is installed over the summer, we will be able to do a nice widowmaker to midway without having to ride the Debbie Downer Double Double.8 points

Super hyper good day in the warm. Good snow is king but pretty good snow with warm ass Temps after a month of Antarctica is sooo good. Just nice to be comfy taking the gloves off. Snow is good light freeze thaw, upper main again was very very good snow and even the stuff that had some crumbles they were at least blue cheese rather than full cookie. Crowded obviously but let them all show up today and have it be quieter for the luge training in the morning. The lot is always tits Mcgee but absolutely killer beer and I feel way more comfortable when I can wear flops8 points

Their new permit is for a quadrilateral subway funicular, stations are upper lodge; main ski patrol shack, valley lodge and multiple drop zones across the ridge/tuts. Rather than create Railroad crossings on Razors, NMDW and tuts lane they've drawn inspiration from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and have secured the Chunnel Tunnel TBM,s to go subterranean thus five subway stations are planned to allow a rider to drop in anywhere across the ridge. No word yet on if a dining car will be available but it was confirmed on pow days the caboose will be used for cat skiing7 points

Hey All, Iām back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. Pretty much everybody was at Blue except for NMski, Root, Kyle, Zonked, AngryHugo and Bethlehem ford guy. I pulled in at 717am and Johnny Law was already in the hizzle..the temperature was in the mid 30s in the valley and warmer up high..mad inversion yo. First civilian 6 pack and first run on challenge which was alright..PARidge said it was a 9 out of 10 so it was about a seven what was a 9 out of 10 was Main Street..it was like that sweet Caroline song..so good so good so good. Switchback and paradise were OK. The boardercross event cut off the falls to peeps going down sidewinder and lazy mile so lower lazy was apparently crazy. I usually donāt ski lazy mile unless itās early season or Root is in the house. We did a few rides up the quad to Free Fall which was small bumps and semi smooth on the right side. The most technical part was navigating the rope like without being tangled up in Charlottes web. All in all was a fun session, skied for less than 2 hours and drank beer for more than two hours. Thanks to JFDan for the chips and PSUFlyguy for the bagels... ski everybody tomorow. Will be back to winter.6 points

Grate day. Stayed until 3 with my cousins. Lines were long but went relatively fast. The Ditch of the Fearless Leader was pretty fun today but getting a little thin in spots. Nice and soft and slidey. Main Street like everyone said just delivered run after run but you couldn't really let it fly at the bottom last noon, it was ultra choppy.5 points

Main Street has been the run of the season so far. Pretty consistently great since everyone goes to the Far East side with the quad. Iāve been loving it.5 points

Did a tour up Snodgrass this morning. Shedding layers early on and at 5 degrees in the sun it felt very warm. went about 1.5 miles up, realizing the snow was complete shit, we turned around. It was total boiler plate ice. Made me realize how good the mountain is doing with what they have. Overall a gorgeous morning, the sky couldnāt get any bluer. My goal today was to get some cardio in and mission accomplished.4 points

Super enjoyable taste of spring skiing today. Overdressed from the get go and had to do high speed runs early just to keep cool. Early run down CS foretell of things to come, as the top sheen was easily scraped off. An early run down Barneyās was the same, but it was impossible to stay away from the free-form bumps on CS and ended up lapping them into the afternoon. A shirt beer break and back at it but not for very long as the legs just gave out after all the early CS laps took their toll.3 points

Parking lot was packed when we arrived at 1030 but lift lines no more than 5 min as a lot of people were here for snow tubing (which sold out) or bunny hill. Most crowded trail from top also the green one. Soft snow, 100% of trails open and all but one lift. Base depth fairly thin on some trails. Mellow ski day with my girls.1 point

It was a Sunny D day....Lots of traffic on Bagdad Blvd going to Blue...Arrived just after nine...Saw @Benm truck but no one else..Met Benm at the sixer for two runs down Switch ...Little marbled up but fast and decent...Took a run down Paradise to check out CS...Looked OK so we rode the quad up....CS had some bee sting bumps on the red side and they rode pretty good....Didn't see a soul in the ditch...Looked kinda slick...Ben split and I ended up doing about six laps on CS...Then two Main street laps which were nice.... Temps were fantastic with lots of sun.....I just adore spring skiing....Split around 11 cause I had an MRI scheduled ...crowds were just starting to build a little then...Ended up seeing TP4 in the lot....Just a fantastic morning at Blue... Bee sting bumps.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJBr_htF5LQ1 point

Did some uphill this morning w my neighbor at the resort. She has to be home in time to get her kids ready for school so we had to leave at 5am. Weather forecast was 2 degrees but it was actually -16 She belongs to the country club so she has a locker there. Very convenient if you have kids. Was nice booting up inside. She usually gets to the top of the second lift (Paradise) but we only made it to the top of Red Lady when she had to turn around. We took 2 cars so I could continue but I was pretty tired so I turned around too. Will admit it was a bit scary skiing in the dark with nothing but a headlamp so I just took it slow. I will definitely be getting back out there on my own but plan on a 6:30 arrival so I am skiing down in daylight. I set my Garmin to skiing but it only tracked the downhill1 point

Finally drove up to see the progress on my cabin and order some kitchen cabinets. driving in my neighborhood On the drive up I was thinking I would check out the 4 x 4 road that goes up to the top of the hill to see if it would be skiable. Coincidentally, my new neighbors were at the base of it, putting on skins. They reported it wasnāt an epic ski down but it was fun and would be right outside my door. This is the start of the road The road up to my house is about an 8% grade so I could pretty much ski back down to my driveway.1 point

Looks like Iām out for at least four weeks. Tried to do too tight of a turn going too fast on the big left-hander on sidewinder, skidded out and wound up just off the trail on my back. Cracked rib and several cracked transverse processes in my lower back, no real therapy needed just time to heal. Cat scan and back brace. Good season while it lasted, sucks to get old. See you next year.0 points
