Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 832am and it was in the mid 30s with some snow just beginning to fall. In the house were Atomic Jeff, BenM and Bethlehem Ford Guy. First run i skied challenge which was very nice soft packed powder, razors was similar and Main Street, especially upper was a floaty cord dream. Razors and challenge got chewed up pretty fast but Coming soon is now groomed wall to wall and was also very nice cord. Lower Paradise was uber choppy. With very wet snow falling it was a soaker out there and the flats were super slow and sticky. Ended up skiing a fast 8 runs and was on the road back to the A at 1020am. Now in line at Chic Fil A and trying their Mac and Steeze on BenM’s suggestion...JADIP

Wednesday 3/9 I think it was low 20s this morning. Snow was crunchy, frozen and granular. Sounds terrible but once the sun came out and the temps went up to mid 30s it softened a bit. Caught some corduroy this morning which was nice and soft. there was some collegiate racing going on which was fun to watch from the lifts. We did a bunch of runs before stopping for lunch. We got nachos to split and I have Brisket Mac and Cheese with a water. I had to call it quits for the day so I had time to hit the hot tub and drink a Beer before cleaning up for 2 mandatory work meetings. Short but good day.

Nice sunset last night but Mike’s right, the hill froze solid at 7:04. Couple good laps and lot beverages still made it worth it. Back at it tomorrow night.

I've been pretty lame getting only 10 days on my Epic Pass. Made up for it with 13 so far on Indy, which is why that is the one I am renewing. Wound up having more time with kids (with me all the time now) and they got the IndyPass - one reason I am using that more. Also those places less crowded. Pretty weak year in terms of amount of skiing done so far though. 18 days shy of my personal beat last year and no way I am getting in close to 18 days. Weather not really cooperating, and the full time parenting thing too. Wouldn't trade it for more skiing though.

Just went outside...guessing 99% water content. The kind that if you threw a snowball at a window it would easily shatter the window yet remain unscathed. Mank city USA probablyat Blue right now. Bright side...Great for base building and covering thin spots.

The FB weather enthusiast for Carbon County says.... Early overnight guidance coming in shows a significant snowfall for Saturday in what would be our largest snowfall of the season.

Moon surface tonight rattled a few fillings, lot beers were good though

I had such a fun day there today. Not the best conditions, but definitely not the worst. After the 70 degrees and crazy wind and rain, they pulled it off and made some decent conditions. 👍👍

Stuck around for 16 runs. TCS was unbelievable. Probably should have been closed. Razors was really good.

Just made a Sat Nt refundable (til 4pm Friday) hotel reservation near Catamount in case the snow Saturday warrants driving up Sat AM to ski Sat PM and Sunday on my IndyPass.

Blue showing that Palmerton moxie and powered through the rain strong. Main was legit pretty good which is very impressive given it was mesh tank tops and daiquiris 10hrs ago. Pretty much everything else looks like crap but skis OK. Side does have a stretch of chicken heads but it's the lower shade side and peeps should know. I would advise they throw a couple lollipops up above TCS, shit is unreal and as much as I would love to see someone try to ski that, the tiny circle spun backwards that says icy probably is a bit of an understatement. Toast said it best first really really shit weather and it was a solid six kind of day. Gotta give them their dues they have been turning water to wine a bit this season.

I thought the email said buy by March 15th to get the $50 gift card emailed to you later. That was my plan but I'll probably buy tonight or tomorrow. When you log into your account now it shows the Buddy pass with the year and a redeem button (and transfer button), so less worry about redeeming the wrong one. I can't figure out how to see the vouchers for my Associates (kids) though. Or even the products assigned to them

Yes could have been worse. Lots of other places cams are showing translucent grass underneath. Haven’t made too many morning sessions this year but still fun. Left around 10 just as things were softening up.

Better than expected today after 70° and rain. Blue is holding strong 💪
